I know most probably have a gym membership somewhere, but who here trains at home ...... and what kind of equipment do you have?

Me ..... well ........

When we built our home we had the builder put a gym in.

I've got one flat/incline/decline bench. A bench press bench with incline/decline.

A preacher curl bench.

A cable weight machine with lat pulldown, seated bench press, butterflies, rowing, leg press, leg lift, ect ...

Also have dumbbell rack with two of every dumbbell from 5 lbs. up to 80 lbs.

Motorized treadmill and stationary bike.

Also have an easy curl bar, 2 straight bars, and 300 lbs of weight plates along with a wall of mirrors to look at my pretty self. :D

sweet deal bro, I like the atmosphere at the gym usualy though, but sometimes i wish i could have a home set up

and are u realy that pretty?

I have two choices,

#1 Pay for a gym membership, know that I pay for it and realize I am a cheap bastard, then go to the gym and enjoy kicking the hell out of my body.

#2 Have a home gym, put clothes on the equipment and go watch T.V.

I'll have to take what's behind door #1 Bob

I used to, but I get a better workout at the gym. For me, too many distractions at home...lots of nice distractions at my gym

I just have a decline/incline bench and some powerblocks. I get great workouts from that simple set up.

I work long hours now, so my home freeweights are all I have, and I don't get to see them as much as I'd like. I would like to start up at one of the local gyms so I could go there after work and vent some frustration as well as it motivates you to do more weight and more reps when there's other people watching you
don't wanna look like a puss

I have relied on my Bowfex for about a year. I bought the top-of-the-line model and with some weight upgrades, and I think it's very effective. I just recently got a gym membership at my work and like to alternate Bowflex and real gym depending on how I'm feeling. I have certain shows I like to watch and it's cool if I can save time by watching the show and working out at home at the same time. On the other hand, I do tend to push myself more when others are around.

If you can only do one, do the one that you're most likely to keep doing consistently. A lot of people have expensive dust collectors at home or expensive membership cards that rarely see the light of day.

I workout at home. Did the gym previously. My wife works out, also which is a great help. Like the Doctor's gym and HongKong's.

Dr. of Golf, your home gym sounds better than the rat hole I train at, what do you charge per month? LOL
