Ala?

Does anyone still take this stuff? Also, does it serve the same purpose as Milk thisthle?

I take both of them and they are definitely two different things.

ALA (Alpha Lipoic Acid) acts as an antioxidant to help neutralize cell-damaging free radicals in the cell. It also will enhance insulin sensitivity and will affect blood glucose levels.

Milk Thistle is considered to be one of the best liver tonics around, and most folks on gear take Milk Thistle to make sure they keep the liver healthy.

Hope that helps.

ALA isn't that great at liver protection but it does exhibit that effect

the best liver protectants to use are NAC, or liv52
