Hey everyone,

I don't remember the last time that I posted, infact it's been longer than I'd like to ever take off again from posting. It's been a rough year and I haven't been able to keep up with my diet or workouts and now I'm ready to get back to my old lifestyle and really need some help.

I feel like it's been so long that I don't even remember how to get back in shape, so I was hoping that you girls could help me out a bit, I'm willing to work harder than ever before but I'm feeling overwhelmed with all info out there. I have about 20 lbs to lose and I just want to get started so ANY info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks everyone....

I have a diet I think you should check out. Its called the south beach diet. Its a low carb diet but, unlike the atkins diet your not cutting out all your carbs just switching to more healthy ones. I've met a few people that swear by it. plus it is used by some popular celeb's. As for training ,I'll let one of our female members post on that issue.

What is your focus and what end result are you looking for. What is your height weight and BMA. The south beach diet is a pretty good suggestion. Read it and see if it fits your lifestyle. You need to ulitmately look at the weight you want to END UP AT and factor your protein intake times 2 for total daily protein and carbohydrates at 1.5 times the weight YOU WANT TO END UP AT.

Glad you came back. Motivation is the first step and this board is full of that. Tell us more about yourself.
