Legg training while on restricted calories--

whats the consensus?


Are doing sets of 20 with 225 a good idea while on restricted caloric intake?

ive done this in the past, & it seams like i do not get any more definition in my quads, & i actually lose size---


what is the best training split while cutting?

high or low volume training
heavy or light-

while im pre-contest dieting, my workouts are just as long as in the off-season, the weights just change from heavy to moderate and lots and lots of reps.

if your protein intake is high enough (1.5-2gms per lb of lean body mass) your body will convert excess protein into glycogen when needed. just make sure you keep your EFA's at a moderate to high level. they will give you the energy you are lacking from a low carb diet.
 
i know what ur talkin about... thats why i have 1 carb meal in the morning ( not much just a bit) and before workout i have most of my carb intake of the day.. usually some rice or some kinda carb... that gives me energy to be abel tworkout..

then after workout i take another carb serving with my shake..

WIth this diet i was able to actually gain muscle and loss fat, i really like it, i have tried all kinda diets and this one is the only one that works best.... remeber i take alota protein ed and omega 3 and veggies...

so basicly have a carb meal before leg day and may be have some ECA and ull be good 2 go.

ps. dont forget to do ur cardio.
