KAPOW! Superhero Science
OK, I found it, it's called KAPOW! Superhero Science, and it's on the Discovery Channel. It airs again this Sunday, June 29th, at 2:00 p.m.

The section on the Hulk talks about IGF, and gene therapy to examine the possibility to create the HULK. Very Interesting especially the part about the IGF gene altered mouse.

The segment on muscle size proposed that genetic manipulation could create athletes 10' tall and 700 pounds within this century. Scientists have even isolated a gene that turns skin pigment and hair green! Whether or not anyone but Lou Ferrigno in paint ever resembles the Incredible Hulk, bodybuilding and other sports may be turned upside down by the new frontier of gene therapy.

What does everyone else think about this?

Perhaps it would be a better conversation after we see it. Thanks for the heads up!

Damn 10 feet tall, 700lbs.....if they do that they better make them stupid so they cant take over the world. I always thought that if you painted Ronnie Coleman green he would look damn close to the incredible Hulk.

I looked online for the discovery channel and couldn't find anything on the show. Surprise by design, great biker buildoff.....but no KAPOW!

Where did you find it?

Was it yesterday, the 27th or is it Tuesday the 29th?

I've already seen it on Discovery, and Discovery Science Channel in the US a couple of times, this is a rebroadcast. They talk about how they put a gene in a virus and gave it to a rat and now the rat has a gene that makes IGF and its all big and muscular, and bodybuilders were calling this scientist asking how much he wants to give them the gene therapy.
