sodium and water advise

just curious about i tried and true method to sodium and water deplete/load schedule for the last week. any info would be appreciated.

What works for me... I drink up to 3 gallons of distilled water up to the last week. I begin cutting water down to one gallon on Monday, 1/2 gallon tuesday, 32 Oz. Wednesday, 32 Oz. Thursday, no more than 16 Oz, Friday, and only ice chips or a few sips of necessary of water. Sodium is cut to 300g or less for the week of the show. Use a mild diuretic like aldactone or a stonger like lasix or diamox, or dyazide(my fav) if needed.
Use the mirror to gauge your progress. I am being general here because I know that some people wait to cut water till Friday, etc.
 
here's just another view on it;

double your water intake 14 days out and POUND THE SODIUM. this will cause your body to stop producing aldosterone (water retaining hormone)

drop the sodium 3 to 4 days out, keep your water (distilled) up. thursday nite start taking aldactone or dyazide, friday morning cut back the water to half, take another diurectic. around noon, drop water to 1/4, 6 pm, cut the water completely (you can suck on a couple of ice cubes)

you will come in as hard as a rock!

it's best to practise this though, a few weeks out, nothing is written in stone in bb. everyone reacts differently.
 
I have tryed both distilled and non distilled, and I see no difference realy, but thats just me,

different tap water....ours up here is FULL of sodium!!!! if you don't use distilled, you can't sodium deplete:(

damn canadian waters!!!:D
