Post cycle workouts

Just curious about what kind of workouts you get after you do your cycles?

I've noticed a very significant decrease in strength after I did a cycle, and nearly tore my muscles trying to lift what I did while on a cycle.

Do most of you try and keep the intensity up, or do you scale it down, if you scale it down, how do you know where to cut back to?

Is it just a matter of knowing one's abilities and forming a routine to fit it or what?

My understanding is that you gain & keep approx. 75%-80% of your gains (muscle), so why is my post cycle workout basically back down to what it was before my cycle? Is it genetics, psychological, fatigue what?

I'm thinking that I just need more cycles under my belt.

aLOT OF IT IS IN UR HEAD KNOWING UR OFF, BUT YEAH YOU NEED TO KEEP UR INTENSITY HIGH BUT EASE BACK ON THE WEIGHTS, ITS A FINE LINE U WILL COME TO FIND IN TIME

As time goes on it seems I can keep my workouts at 90+% of what I was able to do on cycle.

Keep food intake up, keep training intensity up.

yeah i think 90% is a fair and attainable goal for keeping gains and strength and like BS said

It could also be overtraining because while you're on a cycle, you want to train with high intensity to take advantage of the AS. Change up your routine, take a break. Creatine kind of help me with the strength post cycle.

Actually with my legs I have still been making strength gains while off cycle. But up until 8 or 9 months ago I trained my legs only lightly because of knee problems so that could be a factor? In my upper body I can keep between 75%-100% of strength depeding on body part and if im able to keep at it, injuries/surgeries/vacations are all a opportunities for strength loss post cycle.

I think you hit it getripped. While cycling I purposely increase training thinking I'll get faster gains. Next time I'll use a more gradual approach and probably will retain more of my gains. Thanks.
