Training Under DC....(and question about contest prep)

I think I mentioned this before but maybe not.

This week I start training under DC. He's given me my first workout and it seems like a duezy. The diet is insane too. Not allowed to go into much detail.

I'm going to have BS or my girl take some before pics this week.

I'm going to just train/bulk hardcore (pretty much what I've been doing) until early next year, probably feburary or so. I may be interested in doing a show after that.

So those who compete, and Presser please, if I want to start getting ready for a show, how many weeks out should I be to start prep? Assuming the BF% will be around 16-18%.
 
if ur about 16-18% I would think about 8 months man as to not lose much muscle, at 16-18% i would think you have a lot of dieting to do but slowly, so yeah my guess would be 8 months
 
That's about what I figured.


Also, how much muscle do you ned up losing in contest prep? and then once bulking again, do you gain it back a bit easier - kind of like muscle memory?
 
None if you go slow man, my take is if you diet to hard to fast you lose a considerable amount more then going slow, and also if it is ur first show it would do ya good to almost dial in once or twice to get a feel for your body depletng and loading carbs and water, I wouldnt want to just diet it done to the wire without a trial run or so

You will add alot more muscle and faster right after the show, ur body will be soaking everything up fast when you start eating again,
