Agrre, dissagree? Myths of working out?

Myth one, 5 seconds up and 10 down? That's a bit excessive. I agrre, but dissagree. Slow negatives put on muscle. Not quite 10 seconds, but controled down.

The others didn't interest me too much. Maybe the one on protein, in which I dissagree.

yeah the first two were the only ones that i felt like reading and i must say what a load of crap...look at the way they worded those statements.

5sec up plus 10 sec down = 15 seconds per rep VS. 2 sec rep. Both groups of lifters had 29 minutes to workout(pussies)

Then they say the faster people burned more calories and lifted 250 percent more weight. allow me to translate.

if i curl a 50 pound dumbell once every 2 seconds for 29 mins VS. once every 15 secs for 29 mins then add up 50 pounds per rep which one would lift "more weight" and of course you could consume more calories moving faster but that is not a direct correlation to building muscle.

technique and form are.

on top of that, they title the "Myth", "Lifting incredibly slowly builds incredibly big muscles" however there is no mention of muscle size or measurement.

what a scam...oh well at least we'll all be big

Myth number two doesnt even need to be finished to see thru the BS

"Myth #2
If you eat more protein, you'll build more muscle"

What average lazy ass mutherfucker eats anywhere near .9-1.25 grams per pound. nobody i know who doesnt juice and workout all the time.
So they are dead wrong, 99.999 of the people would build more muscle if they ate that much, and as for us we can certainly use more as we have increased protein synthesis to new levels.;)

"Excess protein breaks down into amino acids and nitrogen, which are either excreted or converted into carbohydrates and stored."

NWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA WHAT A FUCKING RETARD

I studied molecular bio for 5 years.. Id love to see the pathway that does that.

Doctors have always told me that excess proteins are excreted through the urine. Gluconeogenesis is the name for the process in which protein is broken down into amino acids and then converted into glucose.
