looking for a gym in Raleigh,NC

Im looking for a gym in NC. Preferably one that I can pay by the month and have no huge upfront charge. ....Im a broke college student so I cant afford to pay too much at a gym plus all my food.
Does anyone happen to know of any gyms in the Raleigh/Cary area like this?

There is a powerhouse and a big ape gym that I would recomend.

presser, I checked that out but only saw one in raleigh

gymbound...where are these gyms at and are you from Raleigh?

Gold's

There are a alot of good gyms in Raleigh. I always manage to find one. It is even a Gold's Gym off of Capital Blvd. There are plenty of gyms there that offer drop in fees or by month payments...

it is usually about $20-$30/month and taken in the form of a draft from your checking account.

Hope eveything works out for you and keep training hard.

Sorry for the delay in a response, the powerhouse is downtown, and the bigape is down western toward cary and the corner of western and buck jones. No, I am not from Raleigh, went to college there, I live about 30 min east in Wilson now. Actually owned a gym in here until December. Personally the Gold's or what used to be Gold's now Beyond Fitness are not very good at all. The Powerhouse is not a franchised one. He had the name before the franchise existed. Pretty hardcore a lot of competitors at both there and big ape.

Is the powerhouse on davie street?? I think the big ape has closed its doors. I work right across the street and I think I saw a big space available banner hanging on the wall today.
