Steady or Varying Reps?

What do you guys feel is the best way to go about a body building lift regime? I have been training each exercise with 3 sets, dropping the reps from 12/8/5 for each exercise....usually have 3-4 exercises per muscle group. When I drop sets, I obviously increase the weight as well. What do you guys think? I have been getting some real nice gains but would sticking with a set # of reps be more beneficial?
 
If it ain't broke don't fix it....lol

If you are seeing nice gains then definitely stay with what you're doing now. That's what I do....increase weight, lower reps, but I pretty much train till failure each set.
 
Bump what Bigger said.You can't always do what every body else does.If you find something that works for you,do it.When it stops working change it up.

ur drop sets are a good routine -- but there is never harm in mixing things up a bit. keeps things interesting and challenges your body.

in general though i think ur set patttern is very solid
