Ok, I have a question just out of curiosity. (exampl)Lets say you have a 50ml jug of Qv prop. If you bake it @ 275degrees for 15mnts 3x. You will burn of some or most of the alcohol right? It will be pretty sterile and will hurt less. Well since it now has less alcohol does that mean the gear will go bad sooner? Will it last as long as the exp date on the label?

I've heard people trying to say you can burn off the alcohol that way and I'm calling bullshit on that.

Where exactly do u presume the alcohol is going to go? For arguments sake lets say you leave a pin in the stopper to prevent the bottle from exploding due to pressure build up. Then yes a very minute amount of alcohol that evaporated in the bottle will be forced out by the gaseous contents of the bottle expanding, but you have very, very little surface area in that bottle where liquid contacts gas, so your potential for evaporation in also very, very small. The alcohol in juice is mixed at the molecular level it cant be filtered out any more than u can filter salt out of ocean water, you cant. And the only way to evaporate enough of anything is with major surface area. Imagine trying to evaporate a 2 liter bottle of coke by leaving the cap off. Compare that to spilling that bottle on your driveway. You get my point.

bigger lets say you got some gear and you wanted to be on the safe side and baked it as I indacated in my post above. Would it kill hepatitis and shit like that. Or are you pretty much screw?

if your worried about cleanliness of it and the amount of ba, then why not refilter it, rebake it, and get some sterile oil or another steroid to mix it with in the syringe with before shooting.

There are no living things that will survive 45 min at 275. So yes, its definitely sterile no question.

If you are going to dilute with sterile oil because the BA hurts, make sure you do your math right so you know your concentrations.

Oh yeah, BiggerStronger the boiling point of BA is irrelevant once mixed with oil and juice. Everything is changed from specific gravity to boiling point. Its like adding anti freeze to your radiator sure water boils at 212 but once mixed, your cooling system passes 212 no problem. Things float better in salt water, another example.

baking. use of filters is good and they can filter either .45 or .2 microns which will catch almost anything, but nothing can survive the heat. why rely on something that depends on size when that kinda heat will kill any microorganism or an elephant. The BA prevents germ growth also and the BA content of gear is pretty high when u consider that growth hormone intended for multi use is sold with bact water that is .9% BA and that inhibits bacterial growth. If u are worried u cant go wrong with heat.
