got to say guys, great site and great people. Cant stop reading :D

ok, now to my question...
I just turned 20 (literally a week ago). My main goal is to bulk a tad bit and then go for some major cutting. Im considering AS but after doing some research I find that my age might be a little under the limit and that my body may very well be producing enough test on its own.
The only thing really stopping me from purchasing any products are the side effects Ive read about. Just everyone has had a side effect, the whole hairloss, deeper voice, gyno, shrinking testicals, etc is rather "scary" and new for myself... Im not looking for amazing huge gains, rather an obvious well maintained body (almost like a male gymnist I guess)
In the past I tried creatine (liquid form) and a bit of protein... Id lie if i said I was focusing on my diet but I wasnt going too crazy. While using creatine my gains were noticable but minimal (considering I only hit the gym for about 5-6months)....
so what do you guys think? Too young? Any kind of AS that has VERY little side effects (im hoping there is because Im not looking for amazing gains). Should I just go back to creatine and protein and watching my diet for now?
My bad for all the questions guys, Ive tried doing searches but theres sooo much info and it gets hard to find specific things.... I just wana be better safe than sorry,

appreciate it!

Very good question--- first , how long have you been training? Whare your stats now? You mentioned something that really hit home with me- and that is about diet. Using AS without a proper diet plan is like going scuba diving without the oxygen tanks- it won't work.
You need to get your diet in check first before deciding to add AS to the equation. AS can be successfully used with minimal sides provided you have the proper ancillaries in place, and you have researched about what you are considering to take.
I am glad you care enough about your body to ask before you actually do it.

mmx2 is right Bro...

You need to work on getting a correct diet lined out. There are a few kinds of mild aas that pretty much do not have any sides, but unless you are watching what you eat, they will not help you very much. You would be supprised at how well you can build your body by eating right, and putting in time at the gym.

my training in the past is probably considered average. I would hit the gym probably more in comparison to the average person. Probably 4 times a week, for about atleast 1.5hours focusing on a single muscle at a time (bi's or tri's r chest, etc). Im currently 6' and about 182lbs, never measured my BF% but Im gona guess its at the average of that of my size/age, nothing more special.

mmx2, you mentioned proper ancillaries. In this case, say I was to take some sort of AS which had the side effects on gyn, hair loss, acne, etc... if im correct, each of these side effects would need their own ancillarie... right?

Im willing to work with my diet... and I really want to bulk up just a tad more and start getting cut. geneticfreak mentioned some AS's which have very minimal side effects, which would be the best for the route id like to follow... in fcat, should I even start taking it or go back to creatine/protein/dieting. I know the decisions lies within me, just need some motivation and opinions is all, thanks guys

You need to read more bro...train solidly for at least a year or two...and you need to get your diet straight.

Focus on diet and training for now. Take a protein supplement, and maybe some creatine.

To answer your question: You don't necessarily need a different ancillary for each side effect. Anti-e's will be used to control most side effects of AAS. I.E. Test, d-bol, etc.

Some use bromo for progesterone build up...although I don't advocate the use of it at all. Dosinex is another for progesterone.
I.E. Fina, Deca, etc.

finasteride is used for hair loss. It blocks DHT. Hair loss most likely will only occur in guys prone to it like a guy in which male pattern baldness runs in the family

Hey flav that is a very good question you have... Personally i started my first cycle a week before i turned 20 and i trained about 2 years hard before i even considered aas, i gained almost 50lbs naturally and then hit a huge plateau... Then my first cycle was deca at 600mg a week for about 16weeks... And your diet is no doubt one of the most important things to get straight before you do aas or else you wont see good results whatsoever... Do i think 20 years old is too young, no i dont but if you trained hard naturally and hit your bodys plateau and you get your diet straight then go for it...

alright, this is the path I think I'll follow for now...
going to bulk 1st, gona try and get to about 215ish (30lbs heavier than now).
gona start with creatine and protein and dieting (for bulking)

accroding to my searches I should just be eatting everything in sight till I reach my desired weight (butter, white bread, egg yolks, etc), right?

bulking while natural is more difficult IMHO, because you're body is not in such an anabolic state as with AAS. if you don't gain fat very easily then eat everything you can, but if you do i would stop eating carbs after about 6-7pm. this will keep bodyfat to a minimal while hopefully putting on a fair amount of muscle.

well most ppl have already coverd what I was going to say but the one key that can not be stressed enough is DIET ! you can have the best training plan and the best drugs and sups but with out an ON POINT DIET you will get nothing ! make protein your main stay of your diet you need atleast 2g per lb of body weight per day ! with out this your muscles will not grow there are only 4 simple rules !

1 EAT !
2 TRAIN !
3 SLEEP !
4 GROW !

best of luck to you !

well lets see...
todays breakfast:
3 chocolate chip pancakes, 3 bananas and a large cup of chocolate milk...

lunch:
6 slices of Pizza (topping included cheese, peperoni, mushrooms) & 13 honey garlic wings... water for drink.

not sure if I can make out dinner at this point :)
