home brew- ouch!!

i took my 1st shot of home brew enanthate 7 days ago. there was no pain until over 24 hrs later. over the next 3 day it became a baseball size knot that was very tender. it still is but the size of it is becoming smaller. i used 3% ba and 8% bb making it at 400mg/ml. i've used twice as much ba making tren before and it was painless. i'm not sensitive to ba like some people and i have never had much pain w/ any kind of prop. what is the cause of this? is the enanthate recrystallizing in my glute? it hasn't crashed out of solution in the bottle. i've taken 4cc, 2 in each glute and the same reaction. anybody w/ some insight? thanks.

Yea....I don't think you put enough BA in the solution bro. Most people will use 5% BA to make a 250mg/ml solution....I would say that it's definetly caused by recrystallization of the test in the injection site. An unsterile solution would cause pain way before the time span you indicated.

i got those %'s off this sight. there are a couple bros that made 400 mg this way and it was painless. http://board1.mantisforums.com/upload/showthread.php?s=&threadid=29351

so adding more should prevent the recrystalization.

I can tell you what happened

the test crashed and crystalized in your muscle thats is why it hurt and swole up so much

happens when I use test e even out of a sealed amp, yours is fine, you'll just have to get used to it, thats why I stick with cyp!

your concentrations of ba and bb are fine bro...however if you got the enanth powder from who i think you got it from then it's most likely dirty. check the bag, are there little black things in there? they are very small, but i could see them with the naked eye. when i got my last order of enanth, it was dirty and after trying multiple different things with each conversion to clean it all out i eventaully had to drop it altogether. i know this kind of shit sucks, but if you have to just scrap it because getting an infection and then an abcess would be way worse...better safe then sorry.

btw...i'm not meaning to argue with shiko and crazyhorse because they both seem like great guys, but i don't think it was caused by crystalization because test enanthate dissolves in just oil. i've never had an enanthate crash before.

the only other thing i can think of is maybe it's too high of a concentration for you. are you having any flu-like symptoms like weakness, sore throat, stuffy nose, lack of apetite.

flexmaster, the final product is crystal clear. when mixed w/ the ba,bb, and oil there were a few black specks at the bottom before filtering. a very little bit, not even a measurable amount. less then i thought i might see. even though wouldn't the watman and baking take care of that. it can't be dirtier then fina pellets can it.

i don't have any symptoms of an infection. it wouldn't be getting better if it was that. would it?

I get those symptoms with enanthate everytime and I only use out of an amp, so it cant be dirty(it can but not likely)-wheelz

yeah I get the test flu when I jump the dose up to high all at once,
Also I have some Test Prop at 200mg/ml mixed with some Tren and 24 hours after the shot I get a lump and it hurts so bad I cant walk for a week, but from what I hear Prop does that???????

y'know, to be honest i think it's probably bad enanthate because i was having the same problem with his enanthate. i know who you're getting it from and both a buddy of mine and i had the same problem with it, and we converted it on our own.

i don't know about it recrystalizing in the muscle because i've never had that happen to me (that i know of).

could be the high dose, mine is completely painless at 100mg/ml. i haven't made prop in that high of a concetration before though.

OK, i can admit when i am wrong. i was doing some research on crystalization+high mg/ml steroids and came up with some good info. i do believe that shiko and crazyhorse were right.

so basically what happens when recrystalizing is that the oil is becoming dissolved by your muscle (normal) but there is still a fair amount of test in the site. so it's basically the same thing as taking a test suspension shot. thanks for helping me learn more guys, i appreciate it.

Flex, how would this be corrected? Add more oil to lower the mg/ml ratio or would you add more BA/BB?

i added 4cc of a ba/bb solution (1 part ba 3 parts bb) to 75ml of my original batch. i took i cc in each shoulder yesterday and today there is no pain yet. with the previous 2 shots by now there would be pain. will keep you posted but i think i fixed it.

also would using a thinner oil (i used grapeseed) cause this because the oil leaves the site sooner? from what flexmaster said maybe using a thicker oil would help.

for enanthate i would add just more oil to keep it from crystalizing. with other compunds that don't dissolve in just oil (prop for instance) i would add more bb, depending on the concentration you already have.

Bro, I don't think the oil had anything to do with the pain. I've used 100mg prop and 100mg tren per ml and it was painless with grapeseed. I actually find thicker oild to be more painful casue its more time spent pushing the plunger= more time to more it around slightly.
