hey guys can some one tell me what will help my liver,, for some reason that shit is sore as hell for the last two days,, im doubling up on teh water but what else?????????

Were you feeling the liver pain in the upper right quadrant (where I think it's supposed to be)? A lot of different circumstances can be medical reasons for liver pain.

You may not have noticed but this thread is 6 years old.

most of the time though you will not feel your liver hurt unless there is something really wrong. Normally you will notice signs of jaundice before you start to have pain. Sometimes people think sore muscles or a shooting pain in that area could be the liver but its normally not.

I didn't even know you could feel your liver hurt. hehe

Most of the time there wont be pain associated with liver problems. The inside of the liver itself doesnt "hurt" it cant produce pain, the capsule that holds the liver itself can cause pain however if the liver is swollen or something pokes it etc. Blood tests are the way to monitor your liver and other body parts, the next symptoms you would get are yellowing of eyes, hands, under tongue etc. this is caused by excess of bilirubin in the blood and the liver isnt working at its normal function. At that point you need to get to the doctor asap as their is something wrong.
