i was just wondering how many people from this actually compete or are training to compete...or gym rats

I'm a gym rat. I really do all of this to look damn good, but my friends and others, people that I don't know that are into BB, tell me I have the potential to do well as far as competing. I may compete one day in the near future, but as for now, just a meathead! LOL!!

been a gym rat all along...recently i have considered doing some masters work after checking out some contest photos of others in my age group....it would be mostly for fun and to have a good time. I'm not gonna be out to win any fame ...hell, i'm too old the excitemnet might even kill me.

For now I would have to say gym rat but I do plan on competeing in the future when i dont have to worry bout school and thats not to far away.

should say was competive bb in 80's getting as far as jr nationals...going for masters natonals...great info...still a little behind on gear situation....but i'am catching up ,with all the great help from mc..:angry:

I'm a gym rat, too. IF, and I mean IF, I was able to make it to say, 215-220 with a low bf %, I might actually consider competing although my wife probably wouldn't understand. I'd need a lot of help from someone to be able to do it though.

I'm a gym rat now but working to compete in about three 1/2 years. I have a lot of catching up to do and with your help I should achieve the trophy I seek. I want to get to the pros in my dreams but I think the masters jr nationals is much more realistic. look for me there in three to four years.

I am a competitor.....I started trainin to get me there and now I have been trainin since 96 and have been a competitor for 3 yrs and still growin and still hittin hard and hopefully be on stage at the nationals within a year.
