I hate using 1.5's...

Don't you hate using 1.5's when you're all out or 1's for your delts or tri's? Man, I know those pins are tough but when it's bending like a boomerang, you can't help but think you may need to go get the pliers out of the ol' toolbox.
 
Don't even get me started with that 1.5, all i have is 1's and not gonna use anything else, am gonna try the 1's on my thighs as well...

I have a big ass, so its 1.5" for me but have used 1" in a pinch. I use 1" for quads...
 
I use 1.5's 23g for my glutes and 1' 23g for the thighs. I dont mind using the 1.5 in the thighs though.
 
Jay, take the needle sheath off and cut it about 1in up from the tip. Then slide the remaining 1/2 peice back over the pin. you got your self 1in pins now.

I've done that, the hardest part for me is to get the little part of the sleeve back over the needle without sticking a hole in my finger.
