i have been getting killer muscle cramps from clen lately and i finally got a bottle of potassium today. each pill has 99mg.

what quantity do i need to be getting in each day to get rid of the cramps???

is this something that i need to experiment with because everyone reacts differently??

thanks guys!

There are many factors that can cause cramping: dehydration, insufficient amounts of potassium, calcium, and magnesium.

As for taking the Potassium supp all of them are goin to be 99mg by law thats the largest amount that can sold OTC.

It takes roughly 18 grams to overdose on Potassium so iwould take the recommended doseage and dont forget to see if your lacking in any other of the 4 mentioned.

Don't forget the water in the equation. (I'd be guzzling Gatorade, IMO.)

happens to me on winny, 500mg of potassium and push 2+gal of water ed, they will be gone in a few days.

i use to get bad cramps, so i just ate bannans, witch worked, but they got a pill called mega men at gnc u have prob. heard of, it works for that to, and it has about every other vitamin u can think of in it

hey guys,

it is deffinetly not water...usually get around 2 gallons a day.

i tried eating bananas and that was not helping, please my diet would be off if i was eating 5 or more bananas a day.

i get plenty of dairy each day, so i would be real surprised if it was calcium.

swolja....i thought maybe taurine would help but i was not sure. thanks backing that one up.

good to know about the 18 gram upper limit on potassium, thanks on that fonz.

i will add the taurine in.......anyone know why taurine helps?

oh and my multi vitamin is AST Multi Pro 32X, which gives me plenty of what I need, except the potassium, obviously.

Potassium doesn't help. It's loss of sodium due to dehydration. That's why athletes drink pickle juice to prevent cramp. Cramp occurs when you lose sodium in your body and the muscle involuntary contracts. If you look at sports drinks they contain some sodium.

Stretch good before workout, get some salt in your doet and stay really hydrated.

getripped is onto something with the sodium comment but keep in mind that potassium and sodium need to be in a harmonious balance... it's impossible to say that it's sodium depletion and probably unlikely that it is. Potassium is a safer bet but the key is that you need both... without doing bloodwork experimenting with supplements is the best way to check

If potassium isn't it, then it will fall to either sodium or magnesium.

clen depletes intercelluar taurine levels or something like that.

I will only get cramps in my legs and chest, though. Sometimes back. They never last, but they hurt like hell for a second or two.

I'm on clen right now and was told about the Taurine. Once i started using it, the cramps went away. And i really think it's the taurine that helped because if i don't take it for a day or two they come back.

Supplement with taurine. At least 3g a day, amybe more.
