Put the Prop. in the freezer?

I know everyone has there "thing". Who here insists on putting the loaded syringe in the freezer for about 10 mins to yield an easier injection? What is the purpose of this? Who sticks an ice cube to the injection point for about 2 mins before inserting the pin? What are some of the tricks of the trade?

i preload the sryringe and then i heat it up in hot water, makes the oil flow smoother, i dont see how chilling the oil could make anything better, it would make the oil more viscous and not flow through the needle or dissipate trough the body as well

I would not be able to handle something that cold being injected into my body. That would feel too weird.

I don't do anything but load up and shoot in.

Hmmm I don't see the logic with putting it in the freezer at all. As mentioned in another reply, it would definitely make the oil more viscous and its hard enough push the oil through a 25g pin. I have run the barrel under hot water before, but that is about it. As far as the injection site, just make sure you clean it properly. No need to ice the injection site before you pull the plunger.

Potentially causing some very painful injects...

i believe the idea behind freezing your syringe before injection is that it will help ease the "pain"...kind of a numbing sensation. its not proven in the least but i think if it helps you not be scared of sticking a needle in your ass then more power too ya.

btw, i didn't mean freezing the syringe...jut making them cold. maybe someone could put the pin in the freezer while heating up thier syringe?

Why not use a topical anistetic to numb the area if your that worried. Personally I wouldnt ever put a loaded syringe in the freezer. That would be painful if you injected cold gear. HAve any of you had an IV stuck in you that wasnt warm. THATS SOME PAINFUL SHIT. I had it done to me and i wanted to kill the fucking nurse.
