North Carolina or South Carolina???

Anyone here ever been to either Charleston, SC or Charlette NC? If so tell all you can about it. Whats it like weather, people and shiznit like that. My friend is thinking of moving there his parents moved to Myrtle beach a few years ago. They are old and need him around once in a while. He has never been there but knows he doesn't want to go to Murtle beach. I hear Charleston is pretty shitty and its always really cold or really hot and the mosquitos are a bitch not to mention that there isn't crap to do there. Plus he doesn't know anyone there at all. Really hate to see him go first time we met we got into a fight in the 3rd grade after that we have been best friends since. Really mellow guy good loyal friend really sucks man.:curse:

I've traveled that way from time to time. You have to love the tranquil mentality of the average Carolinan. The streets are paved with gold and the women are beatiful. Not to mention the vast onion fields as fas as the eye can see.

It is tough to score some pot though.

well he decided to go to Charleston, Sc and just wants to know where and why when it comes to renting an apartment and where to find a job. Some say that people in Charleston are laid back and some say they are all dicks. He doesn't like "jar heads" so I think he may have a problem cause I heard there is a naval base near by??? What ever else you can tell me about Charleston would be great so I can pass it down to him. I think he said he was going to North Charleston where its more city like. He was a manager of this really expensive designer suit store we have here. He was make like $28 hr. I guess he has not been able to find a job in Charleston that pays him more than 15hr or something like that. Again let me know bro. By the way I am in no way putting down your state bro just different ways of life then the west coast thats all.

Other people may like it, I have always been there in the summertime, and its hot as hell, and nothing to do. I am usually with family, so that could bias my opinion. There is a military base somewhere around there I think.

I heard that Charleston is a place where you want to go if you have money and are ready to retire. If you are young there is really no opporturnity there. Well I guess he is going to have to tough it out until he figures out something else

LOL, thats kind of funny u ask bro i'm going to charelston this fri. to my moms condo so me and a couple of my buddys can rip up some sets {surfing} i have to drive all the way from L.I. but we'll be smoking blunt after blunt all the way down like always!it is very boring but if u have a condo and it's located right by the "isle of palms" u can pull all the pussy u want!very sacluded and nothing but swamp land around but i like it actually i love it to get away from home u know.like a mini vacation.it's nice there man,just as long as your by folley beach or the I.O.P. isle of palms
