Stolen Credit Card # ???????

I have been having the shittiest time lately and I just wanted to know if anyone else experiences bad luck in 10s like i seem to.
There has been so much going on lately and it seems like it just keeps coming and coming and coming .

I did a placement at The Hospital for Sick Children and absolutely loved it. It was like my dream job. After I finished my placement I got a call sayign that they wanted me to come work there permanently. I was so excited. All summer they spent the time doing nthe paperwork and getting things ready. The week before I am suppose to start I get a call saying that tey are really really sorry but they cant hire me because they are having budget trouble and arent allowed to hire anyone til they get their deficits fixed.

So there I was stuck at home in a shitty ass small town living with my rents again.

Months and months pass and i cant find a job. Not even a fucken grocery store is hiring because our town is so small and only gets busy in the summer during tourist time. So i sit on my asss all the time, I dont have any friends here because the smart ones get out while they can and theres nothing to do.

My toes start turning black in October and have stayed that way ever since. Ive been to about 7 different docs and specialists. Ive had probably 50 vials of blood taken for blood tests and shti comes back positive then they test for more shit and more shit and more shit. Yet they still dont know whats going on. They have me pumped up on these pills that dilate my heart and blood vessels that cost like 200 dollars per prescription and im not on a drug plan so that money is coming out of my pocket. They finally decide to send me to a specialist next week but I have been restricted from being outside all winter and from doing anything strenuous.

My neighbour who I was helping look after died of congestive heart failure unexpectedly and his wife is yanked out of our town cause its more convenient for her family to have her closer to them.

Ive been struggling with a couple other issues that i dont care to mention.

I see a posting for a Physio in town so i apply and end up getting hired. Great right ???? Not really. Im not sure that I even want to be a Physio Assistant anymore. I think the only way im gonna be happpy doing it is if i am working with kids. So now i start a new job on Monday that i am pretty sure i am going to HATE but will have to suffere through it til i figure out what i want.

Then I open my credit card statement on Tuesday and it says i owe like 500 bucks when i only charged 68. It says the name of some cyber company so i call visa and explain its not my transaction. They tell me to call the number of the cyber place and ask why they are using my credit card number and how they got it since im holding my credit card in my hand and never lost it. I call and its some place in the Carribbean ( i live in canada ) that does Sports Betting. They try to get me to give them my credit card number so they can RETRACK IT. so i was like hell no and ive been dealing with my bank and visa trying to get that shizzat figured out.

it just seems like EVERYTHING is going wrong lately.
Does anyone ever have bad luck this much or am i doomed ????

i'm really sorry you're having to go through this...i know how it feels to be overwhelmed and feel like you have no control over your own life. it sucks that even though you are working so hard you just cant catch up...its the old one step forward two steps back thing. sometimes your down and sometimes you're up, thats just life. try to have some fun and take your mind off things.

Dont worry about the credit card. Just tell them its fraud and they MUST do a charge back. Then tell them you want your CC reported stolen and have them send you a new one. Even though it wasnt physically stolen it may have been stolen ONLINE if youve made a purchase or by reciept at a restaurant or store.

Then you call one of the credit reporting beereus and have them put a fraud alert on your credit report which means that just incase these fraudsters have more personal info on you they will not be able to open new credit accounts without your knowledge.

This an old and common fraud in the CC industry.

yeah, dont sweat it. I have had my number stolen online and the CC comp took care of it for me and I've had my wallet stolen a few times as well. Thats why i dont carry any money.

yea i agree with just about every1 else, they will replace the money if its stolen, so no need to put any more stress on ya than there already is, good things will happen, just give it time.. and have faith:thumbsup: i hope everything works out for ya, and im sure they will!

I actually got stuff pretty much sorted out with the card today.
They cancelled my old one and they are going to do an investigation for four to six weeks and see what they find.
they said not to worry so much because they will cover my costs unless something strange comes up in the investigation.

Ive only used that credit card twice before this happened. Both at stores in person NOt online or on the telephone.
So it should be pretty easy to track id think.
