does everyone agree that board forums have become crap.

I had a vision when i woke up today seeing that on the forums that it has become a bunch of usless jargon on non-related bodybuilding and or supplement related crap!

I dont get it these forums were designed and started for bodybuilding and fitness related stuff and hardly see that anymore.

Is there only so much u can say or what?
I see people everyday struggling to keep a diet and wok out hard but they spend countless hours in the gym talking to others about life instead of busting ass and then eating right.

I guess i am the only one who logs on to the boards and see's crap sometimes and I am also guilty of it, but then again im older and I remeber when some of them started what they were all about.

sorry just had to vent this!

I'll be honest. When I make a thread I'll make it something that newbies or inexperienced members can post about. I rarely have a question that needs to be answered.

I guess what I'm saying is...yes, the threads I start may be considered a bit watered down but it usually gets the masses involved. If you ask a question, how much protein do you eat a day? Which % milk do YOU use, etc. - everyone can answer.

All the questions I usually have get answered quickly and everyone is helpful. I try to help out with advice as much as I can as well so to me the boards are working just fine :)

I think the board is great, its amazing how many differant ways and opinions there are to go about things. I can step up my terminology but I don't think it will help me get answers. Medical studies I can read (had 3 years of it at the University), its the first hand accounts thats awesome. Even if they are sometimes wrong.

What gets me is when ppl offer advice when they clearly have no first hand experience in what they r talking bout. Certain things sound great and look great on paper but incorporate them and you'll find out there useless. Its great that ppl want to offer advice but if you havent done something or tried something, then that should be known so that others with actual exp can chime in.

Ive been bodybuilding since I was 16, started gear at 18. I am 28 now. I have done and used every product and gone through every freaking diet.

I remeber 8 years ago when the rocks board and the renegade board were all the rage and all you would see were threads with bodybuilding relative info and that was because you didnt have profiles on drugs or much info other than what was on the board.

These days people are more educated and can do searches and find the info they need. This board is a tremendous resource for a new guy to pound the seach and find answers to most of his/her questions.

I dont see anything wrong with a bunch of guys and girls having everyday chit chat as we are more than just bodybuilders. We are everyday people with common interest's and goals, but we also have good sense of humors, families, hobbies and other interest and it's cool to learn other things while still being in the BB'ing forefront.

I totally agree with the fonz. many people post replies when they have no experience with a subject and they are posting based on what they read elsewhere......or maybe they made it up. On the other hand you have many vets like myself who have learned through trial and error and can provide solid advice when the opportunity arises.

Sometimes repeating topics is usefull and can get feedback not found in older threads.

If you search throught this board you will find a wealth of info.

exactly OB, i was told by over 12 doctors that i had gorwing pains and later had a specialist flown in to look at me knees only to find out that i would have to have reconstructive knee sugeries. SO YOU CAN HAVE YOUR PHYSICIANS.

LMAO! Doctors are extremely useless as far as im concerened. I had many problems and had to rely on my own research to help my situation.

My doctor thinks that the drugs he prescribed me helped..........Little does he know.

Exactly, if i listened to those jackasses i would be in a wheelchair at the moment and not be able stand up let alone lift. So personally i dont trust and never will trust anohter doctor again. Through my own sheer hatred of the idea of meing crippled i made a full recovery after the operations.

Now i outlift everyone else in my gym and have no plans on stopping anytime soon.

i do admit that lately this board has changed. but its still the first place i come to see whats happening everyday, cpuwise. there is still a ton of information, and a lot of really cool, hardcore bro's on here. on the other hand, how many times can you ask: how much test and tren? theres no right or wrong answer you just have to find out. so there has to be other topics to talk about. and that even helps me to get a read on who im taking advice from. all in all, its a very solid board!

i think this board stands high above all just like DB said......i will agree with crimson saying that alot of things get off topic, but we are a bunch of jokesters around here, thats why i like it.....but we get the job done....dont flame and help everyone that asks

i like this board because i have faith that most of the guys here know what they are talkiing about. its not like some where some skinny pecker is telling me that ill grow doing some curls with the rubber band form walmart and ill grow, furhermore while there are some very knowledgable people on here no one is condescending and there dosent seem to ever be any real drama or flaming that can ruin any good board

Oh yeah....hey Crimson.....this should probably go in the "General Conversation Forum" only because it isnt really relavent to bodybuilding and "anything used to push the envelope" LMAO ;)

I'm fairly new to this board but I do enjoy it.
I myself have beeen a guilty culprit of none bodybuilding material.
However
I do try and I do feel that I have contributed to this board or at least I hope I have.
I have no clue about gear or hardcore bb workouts so I dont comment on stuff like that. I dont want to be giving out false information on things I am not educated on.
However
I do feel that i am very qualified in the rehab aspects and in planning fitness programs for injuries so i try to contribute in those ways.
I think that there is stuff thats not bb related but people have a choice. They can ignore it or read it.

crimson what are some characteristics of your ideal board. we need to know what were doing wrong here

Hey guys and gals, its not that anyone is doing anything wrong per say. I just started looking at alot of BB threads and when presser asked guys to be involved I simply noticed alot of posts about well unrelated stuff that basically goes unanswered and no one really gets anything from it.

I guess there just comes a point where you try to look at things and wish they were back to what they used to be.

Thats all ever wake up and wonder what in your life is a waste of time thats all. Even I and some close bro's are responsible for the usless stuff, I think mostly just because we were trying to find something to post to live up to our expectations..
