Shakes: guzzle or sip?

I always drink mine down pretty fast. traditionally i have been told that you are supposed to just sip on them, but the whole whey taste and smell makes me wanna puik so i just pound them down.....is there really that big of a difference in the absorption of the shake by whether you guzzle or sip on it?
 
I've never heard that sipping was any better. I guzzle mine down too for the same reasons you do. I'd say that the absorption has to do with what you have already eaten and how long ago that was.
 
thats what i alwasy thought....i got into it with a buddy of mine saying that it really didnt matter because its not like your stomach is going to over look some of it if you guzzle it.....it will digest whats in your stomach regardless.
 
Guzzle is the way to go, sipping it just doesn't make that much sense, when the taste of whey can sometimes give a nasty feeling in your mouth, which you would still get while guzzling, but not as bad,...so i always guzzle mines and get ready for another one later...
 
I always pour mine in a t-cup and sit sideways on a pink chair with my legs crossed. it will tickle your fancy:D

Ever spill one all over your desk at work? I still have chocolate whey between the crevices on my desk. It reminds me to drink them! But yeah, I chug em'.
