Difference Between Creatines

What is the difference between Creatine Monohydrate and Creatine Ethyl Ester HCL ?

Has anyone used both and been able to tell the difference between the two with regards to gains & what it does for you?

I love creatine ethyl ester. Wicked pumps and strength..........No water retention and thats also why there no real significant weight gain.

For pumps and muscle endurance without the bloat this stuff is great.

I'll agree with bigger. Don't get wraped up in all these products. Eat, train, sleep, hormones. Thats about all there is. Everything else is good but not the foundation that makes up 97% of this game. You might very well be better off in your training buying a nice shirt that you feel / look good in!

Bro's, I love you guys, but.......

I wasn't asking if my money would be better spent on protein.

I was asking about the difference between monohydrate and ester creatines.

Not everyone uses or is on gear all the time and I loved Creatine monohydrate when I tried it a while back.

Thanks Cyphon, I'll try the ester for sure next time around.

I don't use gear. Its also rare that I buy any suppliments. Although I look like crap now I'm coming back fast. In the 10th grade I was 170lbs. benching 365. I'm just stating my opinion, give me 6 more months and you'll see what I'm talking about. Maybe it would have been better that I just answered the question. I tend to get off course sometimes hopefully for the right reason. sorry

bigworm, truth have it though thats about all there was in life back then for us gym rats. And you can believe there wasn't any pausing at the bottom and my ass wasn't planted. LOL

a good creatine will have a decent ph balance bro monohydrate is a good creatine the other is actually a waste of money with no real gains but like having an inflated muscle, temporary benefit of the look.
as for mono I like it but always buy just creatine powder and test it with ph strips to see if its a good creatine, and adjust accordingly.

i se the best gains with it of mono at or immed after a workout and the other stuff is good for summer looks after you work out a little or just get the blood flowing.

if you are to do the two go with mono and the difference is one works for strength, look, synthesis and helps size the other will break down in a matter of hours losing all gains and pumps but is cosmetic for a temporary look.

I read the article and i will find it and post it bro I may have some stuff mixed up but escentially the same.

Technically, they're both creatine. They should have close to the same effects.

I used mono a long time ago and thought it was great.

I'm currently using CEE and loving it. When i used mono, i looked like i was in the middle of a test cycle-bloated as hell.

This has no bloat and gives great pumps. I haven't gained much weight, but I'm dieting at the moment and not really losing any weight either. My strength goes up every workout, so i'm happy. No water retention and great pumps. I think it's working. I like it and recommend it.

I'm gaining strength, but maybe people gain more strength with mono due to the (water) weight that you put on and the extra leverage you gain from being heavier. I don't know.

I think it's a solid supp for in between cycles and it's not really that expensive at all.
