Please look at my thoughts on first time with Humalog

I have been looking into insulin for several months now reading as much as possible. I have devised a small 4-week layout here. Please look it over and critique it all you want. Especially any things I may have left out or looks out of wack, as this is a big step in my mind.

My current stats are this: (as of this morning)

Age 32
Height: 69”
Weight: 197
BF: 11.8% From my AccuFitness FatTrack II
Several cycles under belt

I will be using Humalog since it is a fast acting insulin.

Day1: 2iu's post workout
Day2: 3iu's post workout
Day3: 4iu's post workout
Day4: 5iu's post workout
Day5: 6iu's post workout
Day6: 7iu's post workout
Day7: 8iu’s working up to 10iu if I can

I will see if I can work up to 10, but if not will stay at a comfort zone.

Time ~ 0 - Insulin shot (this will be around 6 – 6:15pm).
Time + 5 - 10 grams of carbohydrates per IU of insulin, along with 10 grams of creatine
Time + 15 – 50 - 80 grams of whey protein
Time + 70 after the insulin injection. Lean protein Chicken/Tuna with potato and green vegetable (dinner)

I plan on having some glucose tabs and during the first few days slowly sip Gatorade until time has cleared, about 2 hours past injection incase of hypo symptoms.

I was planning on shooting IM with insulin pins.

I have also opted to not take T3 during my go with insulin as I have heard it will reduce your sensitivity to insulin.

I have not decided if I want to do this on or off cycle…

Right now I am at week 2 of an 8-week cycle of 700mg Test Prop and 575mg NPP.
I am not sure when or if at all to add this to my cycle?

I have read that this can be added to the following:
During cycle
During PCT
Insulin by itself

I was leaning towards by using it by itself, as I will see how it affects me with no other compounds to mask the effects of the insulin on my body.

Again, if anyone has any guidance and or opinions please feel free to let me know. This is something I have been looking into for several months, and want to make sure I have all bases covered before trying this.
 
Never used Humolog myself but this schedule looks god bro, especialy working up like that though I might work up a bit slower personaly, carbs per iu are on the money from what I can see,

Keep a log daily here if ya can so we can see, and see ur not dead,lmao, not funny I now, sorry, but I would realy try to go slower getting up to that ten, but thats just me bro
 
Used log plenty, that will work good, you may not need to go up to ten, 8 is pretty good. Sometimes you may need a small amount of carbs after like an hour and 45 mins. You will know by how you feel. I followed a similar plan and thats what I found, pretty much when the slin is running out, so are the carbs thats why you may need just a little at the end.

This number of course is not set in stone, only a working layout.

How would one know when they have hit the limit.

I mean how did you know when 8 was all you needed?
What were the effects, how did your body tell you.

I was also thinking of ramping this slower, maybe over 2 weeks.

I would follow your plan on starting, personally 2 iu's didnt do anything noticeable to me. You can tell its working good around 8-10. As far as stopping around eight or ten, thats just based on people who have tested extreme doses and found that after that point you will mainly gain fat much faster than muscle. By the time you are done ramping up you will be familiar with its affects. I always got sleepy, but only slightly more than normal after busting your ass in the gym and then coming home and eating. Dont fall asleep. Dont forget you took slin. I had a buddy forget he took it then leave his house. Made it up to an old navy then his blood sugar started crashing bad and he remembered why he felt like crap all the sudden. Had to run across a parking lot to buy a coke. You wont drop dead in 5 minutes but your body will let you know when sugar is low. There's only two things your brain needs in mass amounts. oxygen and sugar. either one gets low you will know it fast. When I started slin I bought a glucometer to measure when on it, also so I knew where I was at naturally in the morning after fasting all night. For me, I start to feel low when I drop into the 50's. It doesnt take long to learn how you do with slin, you just need to keep carbs with you then you wont have to worry. Also, using humalog, I would shoot and then start making the shake immediately and then pound it with in 5-8 minutes. If you dont get that shake down you will feel your sugar dropping within 10-15 minutes if you just left the gym, getting very weak and shaky.
 
i worked my way up a iu a day. i think 8 iu;s is what worked well for me. right before i took the shot id have half my enlarge shake so the carbs would be kicking in as soon as i took the shot. then after id have the rest of my shake and a glass of orange juice or sprite then my meal. just make sure you get your carbs in and you;ll be fine. if your rushed and may not be abel to eat. dont take it.
