Overdosed Zinc

As many are aware zinc will raise natural test levels. I was experimenting with this and raised my intake to 500mgs/ed. This is about 10x the reccomended daily. A lot of sources on-line say to take about 300mgs/ed for results. Anyway I felt alot of different things as time went on. Huge increase in eating, slight aggression, muscle cramps and bones / joints acked. By yesterday morning, about day 7, my bones and muscles were not feeling very good at all. I also had some blood in my stool (may or may not be related). I didn't dose yesterday or today and I'm almost back to normal. Although I haven't researched exactly why, I'm almost certain it was the zinc causing these sides. Anyway just wanted to drop readers a note that too much zinc may not be too good for you.
 
Hey bro are you sure it's not in the lower double digits...because 500mg is alot of Zinc for your body to absorb....the recommended fda dose is 15-30mg daily..... any dose over 100mgs is can be toxic..might wanna check that label again bro...

I take 50mg of zinc which is plenty...I think your Zinc is way to high and you need to drop that dose. I can see the magneisum being 500mg but not the zinc.

metallic taste
pain
shock
no urine output
blood in urine
pain upon urinating
collapse
convulsions
fever
chills
respiratory
cough
eyes, ears, nose, and throat
yellow eyes
skin
yellow skin
rash
gastrointestinal
vomiting
diarrhea- watery, bloody
pain upon passing stool
heart and blood vessels
low blood pressure

Because of the basic nontoxic nature of zinc oxide, recovery is very likely.

Profits, I don't seem to have any of those symptoms.

Does anyone think all that Milk in that experiment could have caused some sort of Calcium deposits? No more blood but joints are still hurting. ALSO I'M LOSING LOTS OF WATER, BUT NOT FROM ANY GEAR. Any thoughts? I've switched up to a Atkins style diet from a radical 7,000 calories a day anything goes diet (x2 gal. milk). Also I added animal pak, magneisum, chromium, and zinc.
 
chest workout today wasn't productive. Strength was still up but by bones felt like toothpicks. I feel I need to oil my bones or something. Anyone know?
 
Just dont get it your taking in all that zinc.....then drinking shitty milk.......then switching to atkins diet>??? Brother I wouldnt be doing any atkins diet...I wouldnt be drinking milk or taking in that much Zinc???

Feeling much better. I think much of my problem was actually working my laptop for to long on a air hockey table. It jacks my shoulders up and my arms rest on a ridge. As for my diets I'm just compulsive. Just glad I'm not partying anymore. You outta see my drinking binges. The diets are because I shrunk to nothing and had to get some weight / muscle on fast. I accomplished that rather well as I increased all my strengths about 150% and gained 30 pounds in 5 months. Now I have to work all that fat back off. May sound goofy to some of you but I'm clean from AS and taking in 7,000 calories a day just works for me when bulking naturally. Typically, after everything is said and done, I make better gains naturally than most people using gear. And when / if I do decide to start using look out cause I blow up bigtime. As you will see at the end of July.
In the last couple of weeks I've shaved off probably 3-4% body fat and can start to see my chest veins (I'll post pics). I've also only lost about 3 lbs. in the process. If I am to go on the AS then I don't need to eat like a pig to pack it on. Radical results require Radical changes in everything. Anyone thin and starting out lifting from a couple years of a deprived diet I would strongly urge eating everything in site (I don't mean like candy and pop). The zinc was prob. overkill but many people recc. 300mgs. for bodybuilding. I have no idea if it even works, jus thought I'd give it a try.

i agree with the eating everything in site theory...thats what i tell people when they ask me that golden question " dude how can i get some size on?" especially if they are very tiny and skinny
