Cardio during a cutter

Can you do more cardio than 4x week 45-50mnts since the gear and clen will help preserve muscle. Also there is this guy that use to be a BB who is now a fitness model and has appeared on mens health magazine cover 15 times. This is what he said about doing cardio first. " When you do cardio training first, you deplete most of your glucose and glycongen stores within the first 30 minutes (approximately). After that, your body turns to it's backup source..fat stores and muscle tissue. If I did my 30 minute cardio session before working out, I'd lose that window of opportunity to really target fat burning. Most people here do cardio in the am on an emty stomach. So what can you say about his comment and my first question?

There is different form of cardio, the fat burning cardio that i know is usually done in the early AM on empty stomach, and it's either a walking on high Incline- moderate jogging to keep your heart rate at a fat burning target zone, by this you can find your target heart rate zone to get the maximum fat burning effect, let's take for example of the Karvonen formula for a 23 year old person with a resting heart rate of 65 beats per minute (*to get your resting heart rate, take your pulse for one full minute.):

220 - 23 (age) = 197
197 - 65 (resting heart rate) = 132
132 * 65% (low end of heart rate) OR 85% (high end) = 85.8 OR 112.2
85.8 + 65 (resting heart rate) = 150 112.2 + 65 (rhr) = 177
The target heart rate zone for this person would be 150 to 177

For this person to work in his 'fat burning' zone, he would need to stay around 150 beats per minute or lower. To work within his 'cardio' zone, he would need to work at 150 bpm or higher.

good info bro....where did you get that forumula from? I have seen it before but i cant remember where

yeah, good info modizzle. However, you must consider the fact that I am on clen which will raise your heart beat. Its anywhere from 95-104 bpm. so I don't know how accurate that table will be. I guess you would have to be off clen and any other drug that will alter your HB. To get a better reading of your target

I have it in my nutrition class book, which i took a while back, it's called Life time wellness, this should ring a bell for most college students or graduates....

I understand where you are coming from, the formula is just a given for personal who is not on any thermogenic effect,...So yeah, true that if you use Clen your reading will require much higher reading,... and that means you will have to have your heart rate higher than a normal person and risk for heart stroke or attack is higher since you are gonna be using a thermogenic supplement, and that's according to the formula reading,...So let's say if you took clen in the morning with water and you waiting something like 15 minutes, which the time it takes for water to enter the blood stream, and your heart rate by then will increase and let's say for example for a normal person would be 68 bpm and with clen effect it could raise up to about mid 80's to higher 90's which will be your resting heart rate, so from here you can use the formula and you could end up getting about in the high 200+ bpm and that is too risky,.....i hope this makes sense....

Well there is a twist to formula if you know what your resting heart rate is we can give you a more accurate number. The number give works for about 75% of the population it doesnt work for the polar extremes, those who are REALLY fat (like IP, LMAO) and those who are very well conditioned.

I say the faster your heart beats the faster you burn fat. I also believe in high intensity workouts for cutting the right way. Its only an educated opinion but I don't think you can sustain mass by cooking muscles with cardio. I don't understand why alot of you guys here say you can't get your heart jacked doing heavy exercises. I can go slow and not break a sweat or look like I just ran a marathon depending on set frequency. Why not get your cardio and target a couple muscles? I'm still yet to see a big dude run 5 miles a day. Don't cook your juice on a treadmill.......

Most of your info was correct bro' Just one thing though. There is No formula that can calculate your resting heart rate.... It's totally based on your conditioning. A lazy fat fuck is going to have a high heart rate, and a really healthy person is going to have a low one.

BTW, I dont' know anyone with a resting heart rate of 132....

That's my heart rate when I jog bro'

My resting heart rate is only 48 and I'm 23.

Just wanted to add that ;)

Other than that, pretty good info.

The number you see that is being used in front and the end does not comeout to be the resting heart rate....Look at the example again....

220 minus the Age (23)= equals a formula (197) NOT AGE
197 minus resting heart rate (65)= equals a formula (132) NOT HEART RATE

and so on and so forth,... and we get the end result of 177 Bpm......hope that makes more sense.. now

 Ha, I get it now :)

I thought the brackets meant that's what the formula would give you.

I got confused :)

Thanks for clearing that up bro' Makes perfect sense now.

CARDIO DURING A CUTTER

I am 29 days from weigh in and doing 5 days a week at 45 mins on the elliptical. I usually run at 170-180 or 80- RPM for me on the elliptical . I do it at 5:30 or 6 oclock before work, then workout at night @ 5:30.

I was doing an hour, but it seems excessive and with my low carbs I was not feeling up to it completely.

I am alternating 2 wks clen/t3 with eca/t3
and it sems to be doing alright.
