I was just curious where everyone stands on real experience and desire. The question is approx. how many months have you trained in the past 5 years?

My crappy answer is about 15

Over the last 3 years, my training has been very consistent. A few breaks here and there, but only when needed. The two years prior, I trained pretty religiously as well, only I was in college so my diet sucked and along with the drinking all the time, my gains came pretty slow. As far as motivation to get my ass to the gym...it's always been there.

not really sure..i have been really side tracked this year with bad luck and injuries and such..i need to think about it...

PJT, if you don't mind me asking how many pounds of LBM do you think you've put on in the last 3 years?
3 years ago I weighed about 175 and I'm at 190 right now. I wish I could say it was all lean, but I would probably guess about 8 or 9lbs muscle. I am also in a constant bulking phase too. I really don't care how much fat I put on. I was really thin as a kid so the bigger the better. I'm probably about 12% bf right now. Hope that helps.

5 years 60months right? probably about 58 months easy. this includes a week off after my comp and week or so off in the offseasn to heal up a abit.

Its good to hear so many of you are die hards. I'll have to do some catching up. I'm usually on 6 mos. off a year or 2. I get fustrated quick when I quit gaining. Then I start back after getting skinny and in poor health. I'm hoping to go about it for life from here on out since I'm getting older and uglier (30). Not much I can do for my old face anymore but I can still have a sexier build. I've learned so much here about the general lifestyle of a BB. The other times I lifted I was pretty much alone with maybe a workout partner. I've got to say its pretty f*cking nice to be able to exchange thoughts with so many people working toward the same goal.

It's definitely tough at times. None of my friends share the same goals. They all go out and get bombed at the bars every weekend. I usually go, just limit the drinking. Nothing worse than lifting weights on a Sat. morning with a hangover. I don't even have a workout partner, so there is no motivation there either. Also got a girlfriend who eats Elios pizza and ramen noodles all day. I guess when you are 110lbs you can do whatever you want, but that makes eating clean very tough for me. Just gotta keep yourself motivated I guess.

Ramen noodles? At least she's cheap to feed. I know all about hangovers and peer pressure. Better you're friends take you to the bars than to gang land rock zone. I've learned to close up in order to survive. I tossed my girlfriend for being too negative, well and because I didn't want to cheat on her with her best friend. Killed my dog cause he ate too much, and liked to bite me. Then feed him to the nieghbors dog with chili. My old workout partner is serving a lab sentence for being stupid. I'm just living like grandpaw now. Hate Hate Hate!!!!!!!!!!! But I'm not complaining, actually I kind of enjoy being an ass, and trashy women love it! Keep up the good work PJT
