My First Injection

Well, I did my first injection today (B12, Not gear). I thought it would be a great time to make a post about it for all the other bro's new to injecting. Hopefully this will help make your first time a little easier.

I feel that right now I can provide a unique perspective on this subject since most bro's have done it a hundred times and forget what their first time was like.

I Went down to Shoppers and asked for a box of 25Gauge, 3CC Syringes. The lady handed me the box and I thanked her and also purchased a bottle of B12.

I chose to do my first injection with B12 for the following reasons:

A) I know what I was injecting was clean.
B) I only had to do a small half cc injection.
C) It was only $5, so if I was too scared to inject and couldn't do it I wouldn't have wasted $100 - $200 on a cycle of gear.
D) It was good practice before the real thing

So after getting home I came to my computer and pulled up www.spotinjections.com which is a fairly good guide to use if you're new to this. I chose to inject into my left delt because whenever I got a flu shot or immunization from the nurse, this is where they injected so I had a pretty good idea of what it would feel like and it just made me more comfortable knowing a needle had been in there before.

I washed my hands with warm water and soap and swabbed rubbing alcohol over the spot I would be injecting.

I put the pin into the B12 and pulled out 3/4 CC. I turned the needle up, gave it a flick and pushed the needle up to get rid of the air, in the process I ended up losing 1/4 CC of B12. If this was gear, that would have been really shitty. This is exactly the reason I practiced with B12 first! So I learn how to do it properly and don't waste my gear!

I sat in my chair, relaxed my arm and put the needle to my skin. I slowly pushed it in and I could barely feel it as it went in. It wasn't half as bad as I thought and it only took me a few seconds before the pin was in. I pulled back on the plunger to make sure there was no blood. It was harder to pull back than I thought and I had to get a decent grip on the end to do it. I tried to keep the needle as steady as possible. After I saw that there was no blood and it was just clear I let the plunger go and it went back in because of the vacuum. I then slowly pushed down on the needle and it took me about 5 - 7 seconds to inject the 1/2CC of B12. I slowly pulled the pin out and one or two drops of blood came out. I swabbed myself with rubbing alcohol again and put a bandaid on it.

It left a slight stinging sensation in my arm that lasted for about a half hour (It's just going away now).

Well, that wasn't nearly as bad as I thought! I actually enjoyed it a little bit believe it or not and I have always been a total wuss when it comes to needles! I absolutley hate them and they freak me right out. It was a lot easier when I injected myself than when someone else does it. I knew I was in control and there was some security in that.

I was happy with the results of my first injection and I'll make another post on here when I start my first cycle in another week or two when my forearm is all healed up.

Good Luck Bro's

If anyone has some more questions, post them up here or shoot me a PM!

HEHEHEH...welcome to the club bro...!! i was in your position b4, but i started shooting with gear first instead of b12,..but still it takes time to get used to injecting,...but congrats on the step up...lol!!

My left shoulder is one of the most difficult spots to inj. into for two reasons, 1.) its hard to aspiriate with one hand 2.) its also hard to keep a 5/8in needle all the way in with one hand also. I do it right here at my comp. I prefer quads, you can hold the syringe REAL steady and youve got a good angle to push the oil in. Now, with EOD Injects. you have got to get limber. Next spot hit your left quad, you will be in love. I hope your proud of yourself. Its no sweat bro. The next thing you need to learn is how to pull gear with an 18g, keep the pin in the vial turn the vial rightside up, swith pins to your inject pin, put another syringe on the 18g and repeat. That takes time and practice!
