just heard a story about calf injections. I was told not to do them cause the muscle fiber is so tight, that the oil/water wont break down.....

sounds screwy to me... please give me your thoughts.

i have done calves before never had a problem but just sore the next two days and that was it....i have heard of many myths...i have heard of blood clot in the calves....but then again i didn't experience anything like that.... but bump for more Info!!

I like calf inj. Just sit down, fold your leg over and you can watch what your doing. Plus, my calves are underdeveloped. So the extra help is a bonus.

The theory is that there is so many veins in the calf muscle that you will hit them.... I would think that asperating would solve that...

A reported doctor suggested not doing calves... I have no way to verify if he was a doctor....

Calves and quads are my favorite. You can hit your inner and outter calf. Like NORMAL said you can sit down and really see what you are doing. Makes for a much easier injection.

the only thing that might be true about it is the fact that it's a smaller muscle and it might hurt a bit more.

Oh trust me it does hurt quiet a bit,...i could walk straight for twice days when i hit calves as my first shot ever... Ouch!!:puke:
