about chromium and MCTs

I was told to take 200mcg of chromium with a meal 3 times a day (600mcgs total). This will help cut down body fat? A while ago I think it may have been Da fonz who recomemded adding MCT to my EFAs to help cut more fat down. Now I was told by a guy at the gym that MCTs should only be taken if you are bulking up. If you take it while cutting your body will use MCTs instead of your carbs and it will be harder to burn fat that way. Now this guy who told me this goes to my gym. He is not a PBB but he sure hells looks like one. So maybe you guys can clear this up for me? thanks bros.

I've never used MCT's so I can't comment on them, but I have used a weight gainer with them in it, and found that the energy i got from it was instant, now i'm not sure if this was just the carbs or what. As far as the Chromium, yes it will help it will increase your insulin sensitivity, to help with your blood sugar. From what i've heard though it's nothing dramatic, but R-ALA at 100-200mg 30 minutes before each meal will help keep your blood sugar stable, the key to fatloss. Designer Supplements sells a product called Glucophase XR which is R-ALA with Potassium added to help stabilize the ALA because apparently it can be quite fragile. Check it out on 1fast400.com read the reviews it looks like good stuff, i'm going to give it a shot myself.

Bro, i use MCT's when i am eating my last meals since i have a strcit carb cutoff @ 4PM and keeping my weight where i want while cutting is difficult if i dont keep the Kcal's high enough. I dont recommend eating fat with carbs thats why i only incorporate them into my last 3 meals that are after my carb cutoff. They are NOT a replacement for EFA's but a compliment to them.

Eating 40 grams of fiber a day will help ya also and help draw water outta ya. Your parents were right when they said eat your greens

I've also read that Brocoli in particular helps flush out excess estrogen, your parents were right indeed!

The great thing about broccolli is that it contain cellulose and it take more energy to break down than you get from eating it.
