Some questions

Hi, I have some questions about diet/rest/workout routine, I hope someone will be kind enough to give me some advice :)

I have been working out for about 5 months now, quite intensely for about 4 months and Ive made some pretty good progress-my goal is to build up muscle and generally look good naked.Originally I was doing arms one day, back, chest+shoulders another day (plus abs every day) and then doing the whole thing again (meaning I was going to the gym 4 times a week). However Id like to be working my legs twice a week aswell- so if Im working out 6 days a week and having 1 rest day per week, is that too much?Do I need more rest?

My second question is a simple one about nutrition; what should I eat in terms of carbs+protein before and after the gym? Some people have said carbs before, protein after, some have said carbs+protein after.Bear in mind Im usually spending 30 mins on cardio at the end of my session. My third question would be whether it's sensible to do that half an hour of cardio after 1-1+1/2 hours of lifting weights?Again Ive heard conflicting advice on whether thats a good idea or not.

Lastly, I want to lose a bit of fat.I dont have a lot to lose, I wouldnt say Im chubby, but I have a bit of fat on my belly/waist/thighs/ass that needs to go.Whats the best way to lose fat and still gain muscle, in both diet and exercise routines?

Well I hope those werent stupid questions, Im still quite new to this game.Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance. :lurk:

1. one muscle per week, and you should cardio alot also,,,,,,3-4 times a week.

2. Eat nothing before workout, protein all day, low carbs and fat.

3. lift 30-40 minutes then cardio.

4. see 1, 2, 3
