I don't have an option to upload an avatar....and it won't reset the fields....

Here is how you do it:
1. Click on your name to go to your profile.
2. At the bottom right of the page, click MOD.
3. In the quick finder column, place your name and click FIND.
4. choose CHANGE AVATAR.
5. Choose ADD CUSTOM AVATAR.
6. Upload your file and save your changes.

They should now work since they were turned off for reps(it was a default).

Shit, MMX...I don't have the mod option either. I was trying to change mine as well , deleted it, and can't go back and change it. Now instead of my world champion New England Patriots avatar...I have nothing!

Here is the deal- The reason why its not on the members option is because there were some pretty racy avatars and members who access the forum at work frequently got boobs , people having sex,etc, when they logged on(not good if you are in an open environment). We asked (and trusted)members not to put them on , yet some persisted. The new version of the software has it as an option. I think we will need to discuss this further before we turn the option on again. PJT, if you email me your avatar I will upload it for you.
