I never really thought about this until i was looking throught a mag and noticed that body biulders tend not to have tattoos and if they do they are not big tats.

do judges penalize for tattoos? Or is that alot of body builders just dont want them?

Covers up the skin so you wouldn't be able to see cuts, etc. as well.

I agree with TK, I also think as bodybuilders symmetry is important and tattoos throw off your symmetrical proportions. Unless of course like me you have them on both shoulders :satan:

This is true, but if u have tats that cover a good area, then u have to be that much better than your competitors. I have 7 tats, started getting them before i started competing so not much i can do about it now except be the best i can be.

I dont see how tatts hinder the lines.........

You don't? Hmmm

I agree with Presser. I've seen someone so dark in competition I thought he was clearly an African-American. You see his offseason photos and he's a very white individual. If he had tats, there was no way you were going to see them.

I have tats PJT, weather they're cool or not isn't for me to say. But children do laugh at me because of them.

LOL. As long as people notice and you make an impression that's all that matters. I have 3 myself. Need to cover up one and will probably get a few more in the near future.

I actually think I remember yours from the pics you posted. covers your whole arm right? I attached my newest...
