Hey family at MC. It has been a little while since I have been on the site. I was in Minnesota all last week for work and when I got home on Thursday, I received some bad news. My 15 year old sister was in a bad car accident, in which she was ejected from the vehicle and found about 40 ft. from the truck. She has been in a coma since Thursday. The little burger has given us quite the scar. I don't consider myself a religous man, but I have been praying non stop. I do believe all the prayers are helping. I ask if you would all please keep her in your prayers. I know that my family including myself will appreciate it very much. Thank you all and take care.

I'll def pray for her bud. If it makes you feel any better I was thrown outta my truck threw my widshield when i hydroplaned and in the end I came out of it allright. I was by no means ok, but in time I was back to 100%.

Just never give up hope, and she'll be in all our prayers.

Def in my prayers.
Matt.18:18-20
18"I tell you the truth, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
19"Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. 20 For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them."

i will pray for your sister bud. i know exactly what you are going through as i have been through the same situation my self first my uncle got in to a accident then my cousin. my cousin memory came back quick, but it took my uncle more than a year to get his partial memory back. god bless your sister.

I pray for my family and friends everyday, I will definitely include her. Keep up the hope!

Thanks for the prayers. Last night she had a better night. Cranial pressure stayed down and vitals remained stable. The other night she wasn't do so well, the neurosurgeon had to drill a hole in her skull to relieve the pressure that had built up from the swelling. They also placed her in a very deep medically induced coma so she could rest easier. I know she needs the rest and we are very optimistic that she will wake up soon. Again, thanks for the prayers and thanks for keeping my family in mind. I am forever grateful. I will keep you all updated. Thanks again.

The doctors are going to slowly bring her out of the coma. It will probably be a few days to do. Cross your fingers. Again, thanks for the replies.

Update on my sister :)

Just giving everyone a brief update. My sister is still in a coma, however, a MRI and EEG detected no brain atrophy, which is awesome considering the trauma. She is now off the respirator and all IV's. She still has a feeding tube and is staying well nourished. Also, she is in therapy several times a day having speech therapy, OT, and PT. It is amazing the things modern technology can do. Today she began to smile agian. She is taking baby steps, but steps in the right direction. Again, thanks for all the support and prayers.
