good diets

is the body for life diet any good....im looking for something easy to understand and straightforward ......sometimes i read stuff and i dont know what the hell is going on...........so what are some diets that fit my need.....thanks guys
 
well what are your needs and goals? a diet is more about a lifestyle change then a quick solution but it can be adjusted based on the goals for the moment i.e. bulking,cutting etc..or you can be just looking to be healthy and fit..its about watching what you eat and eating clean.that doesnt mean deprive your self of all the shit you love it means limit the amount of shit you eat and be prepared to work it off.

Well said brotha, when u have your mind set to look a certain way u have to what u gotta do to get there but dont let it consume every aspect of your life unless u r a competitive athlete, even then they need to bend the rules at times.
 
the word diet and people think deprivation that not true Its behvior modification. I must say that is toughest thing I have to disapline. It depends on what your goal is? To start any kind fo diet just like exercise write everything you eat down for 2 weeks eat your normal ways just write everything you eat down. Then you can see what you want to change. depending on your goal. then make adjusments. I had a friend that wrote down what i could eat and that helped me. Its not easy to disapline when you excersise so much your appetite changes because your increasing your metabolism.
 
these guys all hit the nail on the head. but you really have to want to do it. i think one of the most important things you need to do is, try to understand the functions of pro, carbs, cals, sugars, etc. if you can picture how it all works, it will make your diet/lifestyle change so much easier. good luck!
