Diuretics? Do they really work?

Water loss pills? Do they really work? Im sure its only a temp. relief for water loss. But if the DO indeed work why arent they more popular? Reason I ask is because it is beach season here in the south and on Sunday Im usually a little bloated from Fr-Sat and holding a lot of water/salt. If they are just a quick fix its cool. What is the best brand to go with? Any testimonies?

After 1 week on the ECA I usually look pretty ripped compared to what I usually am. Great for vacations, special nights or contests.....

Definatley temporary and makes me feel like poo poo.

:(

Ive tried plenty OTC water pills like taraxatone but none work for me..........and real diuretics make me feel like total shit but work big time.

dandelion leaf powder and celery seed work for me. i used to bloat terribly on-cycle and have decreased urinary output b/c of sodium retention. since taking those diuretic supps i have less bloat and inc. urinary output.

Diuretics do work. Caffeine is a mild diuretic, and it makes me lose a lot of water. I'd be afraid to see what a real diuretic does to me.

Herbal diuretics don't do shit.
When I used to be single and go out, etc, I would take one amp of inj Lasix. Within the hour, you pee up to 10lbs of water, feel good and look great.

lol. Unless I'm competing I don't think I'd screw around with injectable lasix.

And why not? Inj Lasix is the safest injectible to use because it is the most controllable. You have to be an absolute moron to screw up with it.

But people screw up regularly with oral lasix (very dangerous product), dyazide, moduretic, you name it.

I don't have any experience with it so I shouldn't say much about it. It just seems like too much involved for a night out. lol. I'd just rather not worry about it, go out and have fun.

Now if it's a photoshoot or competition I would understand it better.

I always find Taraxatone work really well for me, much better than aldactone anyway and you don't feel nearly as bad on them
