syringe filters

Sup bros,

I have bought by mistake cellulose acetate menbrane syringe filters instead of the PVDF ....
Anyways, I was told i could not use these filters but I've read these could still be useful so I filtered some primo ( which I am cycling on now ) , once everything was filtered I took a deep breath and injected...and nothing! no infection , no lump nada...
I did not filter more than 20mls though since i've read the cellulose acetate can' t handle large volumes so I did not take a chance and filtered 20ccs only.
These are 25mm, .22um w/ PolyPropylene housing prefilter glass.
Any comments for those who have used these type of membrane filters?
Thanks in advance:)

Thats what I've been using lately...they work ok. I have never used the syringesize, I use the sterio cup filter size though.....the membrane itself is flimsier so I can see you blowing them out easy.....just take your time and they'll do fine.

Thanks, yeah i bought 100 pack of these CA filters so I'll keep using them...I was that close to toss them away though...thnak God I tried them, don't know why people think they won't sterilize solution because they do but not large volumes.
