Surgery On the 12th

I'm going to have my labrum repaired (shoulder) on the 12th.

I am very much looking forward to the procedure. I've been getting my legs workouts in but anything above the abs I have to do very, very light (60% or less power).

What sucks is my workout partner is a 160lb dude (5'5" (WITH SHOES)so he's actually pretty big, natty) is a very strong kid. It hurts my ego when he's putting up the weight that I helped him get to. I have to remind myself to take it slow.

He was pressing 75's over the head for a dumbell military press and I jumped in. He even offered to get some 50's. I think that pissed me off oven more, lol. I got a couple up and came to my senses and put it down.

It sucks being injured waiting for the fix, am I right?

I hear ya jay. That's why it's sooooo important to train right and keep everything in check because an injury can occur easily, and even with all that in mind, anything can happen. Anyone can get injured, and it's no fun, I know!

Best thing to do is just keep a positive outlook and work into gettin yourself back to 110%.

good luck JW...don't worry you will be back in no time to shoulder press that kid plus two 75 lbs dumbell...good luck bro..keep us updated...
