What Is a Good Brand Of Treadmill?

I'd like to buy a treadmill for my room, so i can just get up and do some cardio on an empty stomach, this would make life easier cause i hate doing cardio and weights in the same workout. PLUS cardio on an empty stomach burns fat like nothign else, and then their is the fact of not being able to get to the gym at times in the winter from the roads being bad, i can just hope on and do some weights in my room also. So any suggestions on what brand to look for? I just got back from Sears, i was lookin at treadmills their but the salesman doesn't know his head from his ass, lol. So i don't think that i'll be buying a treadmill from there anytime soon, lol.

Trust me on this one,,,,,,99% of the time you get what you pay for. Used in a local paper is the way to go. Look for more horsepower, someone who paid over $1500, and buy for around 400-800. Personal use is very very hard to wear out a top notch treadmill. Name brand isn't as important to me.

BTW, DON'T DARE GO TO SEARS AND PAY LESS THAN $700 FOR A TREADMILL OR YOU'LL BE A VERY SORRY CAMPER WITH A SORE BACK.

PEACE

Well i'm currently 255lbs and i was laughing because like 5 out of the 10 treadmills at Sears had weight limits of 250, lol. Ya i think Precor is what i'm gunna go for, i'm going to Fitness Depot on tuesday i believe and i'll check them out, i looked at their website and they have 3hp ones with 400lb weight capacity's :).

if you are currently a member at a gym then just stick with using theirs, if you buy a coat rack ooops i mean a tread mill, it will get use right off the bat and then you will never use it again.

If you're actually interested, send me a PM and I'll let you know.

Can definatley get you a few hundred $$$ off with a couple little extra's thrown into the deal.

Keep in mind I'm up in Canada so if you're close to the border I can help you out, but if you're down in Florida.... that might be a little too far.

I'm just north of the border from Buffalo.

I see how it is...Fl isn't good enough for you huh. Damn Canuck. :D
I am in the market too, I will be in MN and MT soon so maybe I can meet you at the border and use it as one of my carry-ons.

I also recommend Precor. All the gyms in my area have them--great machines.

I dont blame you for not selling to floridians....They are all fat and tanned and always ask for a refund.

Well, im pretty close to florida myself.......lol.......Guess I'll just use MACE's belly band machine.

i use to put in gyms commercialy and residentialy and both would use "True" treadmills, they were ok for price
