where the nerves are

There are alot in the legs, but you can hit them anywhere. Its hard to say exactly where they all are. You'll know when you hit one, thats for sure.

That's for sure, I brushed by one this morning, and the muscle jumped, but it wasn't painful. You just never know.

Best place where I learned was over at www.spotinjections.com, but i'll post some helpful hints here which I found better at times.

Shoulders - If you go too high up the humerous you'll hit your humeral nerve. Your insertion of the pin should be down toward where the delt inserts into the humerous, about a 1/4 the way down the arm, maybe just an inch or so higher.

Quads - This is the hardest to be honest. If you flex your leg you should see your vastus lateralis (and if you can't, then you obviously dont have enough muscle on you, thus shouldn't even be touching steroids). Follow the ridge up about 1-2 inches past half way, then go "down" lengthwise an inch. Hit it perpindicular. The same applies to the left quad, HOWEVER, WATCH out for your femoral nerve as this is the one everybody hits on the way in because they are TOO low when injecting into the leg. Too low meaning toward the middle of the quad in terms of the thick part of the leg. It must be up higher, and you must hit it perpindicular into the vastus lateralis, otherwise you severly risk hitting it (and most of us, including myself, know how much it hurts).

Glutes - no brainer. You have 4 quadrants, hit the outter most one. There is plenty of meat to hit there so dont try to be a fool picking another spot, lest you want to paralyze yourself hitting the sciatic nerve.

I'd go into the others, but they are the main ones people like to hit. I've yet to do bicep injections, and I will be now that i'm lean enough as I was scared before as i'm quite a vascular guy, so i'll be following the spot injection guide along with my own knowledge of human anatomy (in which i'm an exercise physiologist). But i'd always love to see videos of peeps doing bicep (and tricep) injections...anybody?!?!

I've done tricep, bicep, delts, quads, glutes, pecs, and even lats. The only place I have had any 'trouble' is the quads. I've never hit any nerves, but the injects are a lot more painful than any of the other places. I just switched to delts recently from the quads--much, much easier there. Biceps and triceps aren't hard, you'll just have to try it out.

i posted this on one of the other threads but for people who missed it and arnt sure where to hit the ass
that reminds me. there is a real easy way to get the perfect spot to inj. take your hand, fold in all of your fingers except for your pinky and thumb. pull your shorts down. put your thumb on the front of your hip bone with your pinky facing back. with your thumb on your hip strech your hand out so your pinky touches your ass. where your pinky is is the perfect place to hit. just a little trick i use all the time. you always get the right spot.

ummmmmmmmmmmmm I think I may have gotten confussed with your directions bro.

Is my pinky suppose to be in the middle of my stinky???????

BTW this TOTALLY depends how small your hand is or how big you ass is. lol

CROWLER

i think its pretty much universal. smaller people have small hands. bigger peoples hands are bigger. i use it every time and never had a promblem. make sure the tip of your thumb is on the front tip of your hip

Or you could just divide your ass cheek to 4 quadrants of equal size, and go for the outter left/right one for the left/right cheek!
