what do you guys use for getting rid of back and chest hair. ive been using hair clippers without the attachment. a girl i know offered to wax me so im gonna give that a try. do you think that waxing would help with pimples on back. if i use a razor ill get ingrown hairs im not sure if waxing will do the same. ill do whatever if it will help with the bumps on my back. i might try nair agian. what do you guys use??

DON'T WAX! A buddy of mine waxed his chest....looked like he had 3rd degree burns all over him. Might have just been the person who did it though. I just have my girlfriend shave me! Other than that, I used to use nair...worked pretty well. But if you are nairing your chest, dont get it on your nipples lol...It burnt like crazy and I still have scars from it.

hahaha i did the same thing. i got huge blisters on my nipples from that shit. they make nair for men. the thing i dont like about shaving is i tend to get more ingrown hairs. ive already got enough bumps and shit on my back. there almost like pimples but they dont pop, they just get bigger when you try to pop them. ive tried just about everything to get rid of them. i know its from the test. i love the way it makes me look but im to self contous about the bumps on my back that i dont take my shirt off.

do you guys no what works best to help clear your skin up. im almost thinking of going to the doctor and seeing if he will put me on that med. accutane is it. the only thing is when im off gear i dont really have a problem with it.

Have that girl (or someone) wipe your back down with isopropyl alcohol every morning and night. That will help control acne on the back. It helps me keep my skin clear of that deep stuff that you describe.

I can't shave with a straight razor, or use nair. I've even tried epil stop plus for sensitive skin. The problem is once the hair starts to grow back, I get bumps, ingrown hairs. I can only shave with a beard trimmer, so I never have that totally smooth shave. I seen an add in one of the bb mags that advertise this stuff that supposedly makes your hair grow back thinner each time you use it. This may help my ingrown hair problem I don't know. If anyone has the same problem as me and found a solution, I'd like to hear it cause I hate being hairy, but I hate being covered in pustulous ugly painful lumps also!

i hear ya there bro. thats why im afraid to wax. i use the trimmer to and im always prickley. i truly hate those bumps. you try to pop them and they only get bigger

Try this dude...do you have an electric razor? Well when you shower, use a straight razor (mach 3) WITH the grain...don't go against. Then when you get it down to stubble, and you are dry, use the electric razor to get the rest. Damn I feel gay right now talking about this...but that's what I do. I get baby smooth everytime!

Its not the smooth shave that I have a problem with. When the hair grows back I get bumps, not good.

Quit screwing aroung and Have the laser remove it. $150 for back 25 for arms and 100 for chest best damn thing I ever done

laser removal

how many treatments did you need? did you do just one? I've heard you need to go back a bunch of times - every month or two.

On a scale of 1 to 10, how bad did the treatment suck? I tried electrolysis years ago (before laser) and it just sucked. You're basically burning the hairs out one by one.

I've heard nothing but bad things about electrolysis...

Mntinman1 - That's all it cost? Did 1 treatment get rid of everything. I've been looking into laser for over a year now. I will eventually have it done as I agree, it's the only way to get rid of the hair without burn, nicks, bumps, etc...
I thought it cost a lot more than that though....

I was told at least 5 treatments were necessary and everything all together would be close to $2K

With laser here's the deal, sometimes it can take only 1-2 times and sometimes it can take 10 times to completely remove the hair. What happens is the laser actually attracts it's self to the pigment in the hairs, so if you have very dark hair it could only take a treatment or two but if you have lighter hair or blonde it may not work at all. But at the same time if there are some really fine hairs that are just starting to grow back or what not behind other hairs the laser is going to attract itself to the other hairs first thus making you go back for another visit. It works awesome but stings slightly, I highly reccomend it.

Try Veet. It's a cream you put on, let sit for 5 min., then wipe off with damp towel. You can find it at Wal Mart. Works great for me. Nair made my back look like a peparoni pizza.
