lipostabil / phosphatidylcholine / "flabjab"

Anyone tried this stuff? It's all the rage in the UK, it seems. it's injected sub-q and claims to melt fat away. Also fits into the category of "mesotherapy" treatments.

A while back, a guy turned scamm'r and sold a whole shitbunch of fake lipostabil. I think he went by the name of "A**B****" on Meso, gave the whole subject a bad name.

Anyhow, I had some money with no apparent purpose, so I traded it for a kit with lipostabil, and the suggested Tiratricol and 10 Procaine HCl 2%.

I have this weird imbalance where I have a tiny bit extra fat on my abs to the one side of my belly button...just enough where you notice the extra padding. fricking annoying. I'd like to see it disappear short of spending $4k on liposuction.

Anyhow, just wondering if anyone has seen any good results.

talks were going around for the longest on this side of the pond, maybe a year ago or more. Lost it's momentum, I was going to try some out but my guy couldn't keep it in stock and then it seemed like it just vanished (literally and in talk).

There was at one time. Will you explain your results in more detail poof? (where were you uing it, how long, inches lost, appearance, much swelling?)

I've never heard of this stuff--sounds really interesting.

it's getting a lot of attention in the UK. A lot of "non-mainstream" plastic surgeons here in the US are using it, as well as other substances for mesotherapy - injecting small amounts of substances sub-q to reduce fat, cellulite, etc. as an alternative to surgical procedures.

These docs don't claim that it can suck out 20 pounds of fat outta someone's ass like liposuction can do, they position it more for things like small love handles, or fat accumulation under the chin (when you get older), or fatty bags under the eyes. That kinda thing.

Anyhow, I've got a tracking number, so assuming that it doesn't get stopped by some overzealous customs inspector (its not a controlled substance, so hopefully it wont be), I should have it in a few days.

as mentioned in other postings, you basically inject a tiny amount (like 0.1 mL) and do a LOT of injections evenly spaced over the entire area.

Repeat the process every 1-2 weeks, for 2-10 times (depending on how severe the "problem" is). Expect some swelling and pain for a few days. Some guys have reported horror stories, others not.

I'll let you guys know how it works. Won't be doing pictures <lol>

I read tons of info and how it's popular in brazil and the UK. One thing I never did see was someone who logged progress in detail.

well, did the first set of injections today. it's a combination of lipostabil, and the Tiratricol and Procaine HCl 2%

First of all, I fucking hate amps. the kit has a total of 15 of 'em, and sure as hell, I dropped one.

I did one small injection in the AM to see if I had any bad allergic reactions, and didn't notice anything. Nothing at all, so this evening, i went ahead and did about 20 injections - each one is 0.2cc and is about 3/4 of an inch from the last injection.

I used slin pins, so each 1ml pin was 5 injects. I decided not to use the big 5ml pin with the 30g needle on it, as they only gave me 10 30g needles, and that means that each one would have to last for about 20 pokes! Also, it's just too hard to measure a 0.2ml inject on a 5ml syringe.

Well, the stuff didn't hurt at all going in. Just a little pinch when the slin pin went into the skin. After I was done, I put an icepack on the spot for about 20 minutes. I also put Phenergan cream - an antihistimine (provided as part of the kit).

Well, after the ice came off, the treated area started stinging like a bunch of little bee stings. Not unbearable, but kinda sucky. I took 3 advils. If it's not better by bedtime, I'll pop a codeine or a vicodin.

I think the area might have swollen up a bit. We'll see tomorrow.

I would suggest you to take some massages on the area to help distributing the substance. And, not to put anything cold on your skin, as it can stop mobilizing the substance in your body.

If you have problems with pain, use one hour before some xylocaine or procaine (don´t know the names in english).

Good luck

also bump for anyone who has used this product at all, i was thinking about it awhile ago and am interested to hear back

I hear it on the radio and see it on billboards here in KC. They call it Lipodisolve and I think its still going on. You have to have a doc do it. I know there is a place here that all they do is lipodisolve so it must work. I was just wondering why Ive never seen it on the black market. I think it would be handy to have for those hard to get rid of spots! Like all over for me.. LOL!

I had lipo of the thighs and abdomen, greatest investment of my life. It was 4k for all areas and the doctor was wonderful. He actually didn't want to even do it in the first place, said I was too lean but I convinced him and he said, wow you were right I got a lb of fat out of each area. Next I'm getting lipo on my butt. It's worth it, trust me.
