How much proteine??

Hi guys, just wanted to aks a question about the amount of proteine you could maximum take/digest with each meal. I am on my second HGH cycle now ( 6iu/day) with 750mg test en 600mg eq, 50mg drol, and 60mcg IGF a day, and 1-2 times 10iu slin on training days. (no i am not new to steroids...:):))

As suggested everywhere i take about 40gr of proteine each meal, also after the slin intake, and about 5 meals a day. A friend of my is a doctor and he says it does not make sense to eat more than 20gr of proteine each meal because you body can not digest more... So are we all throwing away 20gr of proteine each time??? How about this?? How much proteine can we maximum digest each meal?? Does anyone knows this makes sense to each over 20gr of proteine a meal??

Good question...I'm going to bump this up. I've seen a few arguments on this topic as well and I'd like to know the answer too. I read in an earlier post that the body can only digest 38 grams of protein per sitting/meal, but my question would be what timeframe is considered a "sitting/meal". Saying you can only digest 38g of Protein may make sense if your sitting lasts 15 mins, but what if you span that out over an hours time? So I guess the better question would be, how much protein can you take in, in a certain amount of time say in an hour?

There has always been controversy over this issue, but I will tell you that when taking the amount of stuff you are, there is no way in hell that you will grow with 20gm protien over 5 meals a day. that's only 100gm of protien a day and not anywhere near the amount that you need in order to grow.

Once i hit 270lbs, i was stuck. I changed everything around, from what I was taking (AAS) to when I slept, to work out time/duration/*********. The only thing that got me past my sticking point was upping my protien to 500+ grams a day. I am now bridging and getting as much as 700gms a day. I am not putting on any fat and keep all my carbs to morning meals with some fats in the evening meals. However, my physique looks better now than it did when I was on cycle, and I'm heavier than I was on cycle.

If you can afford it. try to drink as many as 8 protien shakes a day. one with each meal. Try it and see for yourself what role excessive protien plays in gaining mass while on AAS.

TomSizeMore: if you eat like 700gr of proteine a day how do you get your carbs in?? do you still have apetite for that? does a proteine intake that high mean for you that you cut on the carbs?? because that would mean that increasing proteine in that large amounts would mean decreasing kcal from carbs... now i eat about 5-6 meals a day with every meal about 40-50gr of proteine and i notice that if i eat so much proteine my apetite is really going down so my carbs intake is not very high and as such my total kcal amount is not really high. ps my weight is 100kg, height is 1,77m, my fat % i dont now but not very high (the 103kg is not my belly :):):) )

I'm 123 Kilo's and eat about 7k calories on average a day. 700 grams of protien isn't really like taking in 2800 calories anyhow. It takes 1 calorie to digest 1 gram of protien, and therefore you are only really taking in 2100 calories from 700 grams of protien.

If I am getting fatter, I just do cardio in the mornings. I don't believe you can ever get too much protien, just not enough water

It really is amazing what protein intake affects. I have been trying to work my way up on it myself, and I have been steadily gaining in many lifts strengthwise, and I think I'm now starting to show a little more size. It's hard to increase the amount you eat, you have to really work at it.

and boy do my nails and hair grow fast. Im sitting at 400gms on non training days right now.

Ive definitely noticed a difference. Im working on upping it even higher.

Funny you mention that Perseus.... My Dr. told me TODAY that I was taking in too much protein and it could be a cause for my stomach acting up the way it has been lately. What kind of shit is that? TOO MUCH PROTEIN? Is there such a thing?
