Great workouts, bad days?

I know I'm not the only one here but doesn't it seem when you're having a particularly bad day, you have one of your best workouts?

It has to be something, because it almost always happens. Where you just have to drag yourself out of the house and as soon as you hit the gym, it's like magic? Tough to explain if you've never been there.

My therory is that you overcame the hardest part, getting off your ass. So when your there, it's cake.

Anyone feel me?

Yea, getting up is the hardest part. But I dread every workout when off cycle......only cause I know I have to put more into my workouts than when on.

So off cycle, working out just sucks. But I do it, and actually train even harder.

yeah, I think it seems so impressive becuase you didn't have expectations going in there. I know when I'm beat and I get in there and I beat something by a rep or 5lbs its way more of an accomplishment than had I did it on a day that I was full of piss and vinager.

It all depends on what made my day get shot to hell. If i'm pissed then yes my workouts kick ass but if its something depressing then my workouts suck ass.

always been fired up but comeing off is bringing me down. knowing it will be 3 months before hitting some more gear.

I feel you guys. Just today I was late leaving work due to some stupid bitch being a slow ass worker, making me late to work out. I was all fired up. When I got going though, I dang near deadlifted the gym. F'ed up but maybe it the adreniline.

That's the way it is with me, too. I've been having some fantastic workouts lately until I got a little bit of food poisoning over the weekend so I'm taking a week off. I can't ever exercise like I normally do if I'm sick.
