1 hour tops in Gym, Im in for 1hr45mins.!

I usually work out by myself and can get in and out in under an hour with a pretty good work out, and hitting abs too.
Ive been lifting with a buddy of mine thats a beast and I know it would be good to lift with him because it would make me push harder to compete with him, not to mention he does different exercises for muscles(always good for a change).
The only problem is... we are in for 1 hour and 45 mins a day. I feel like I loose my pump half way through my workout, but strength is still up and good. Might have something to do with my current cycle.
Typically we will do a set, chill for a minute or two, another set, repeat.
Wait about 5-6 minutes and go to another station and do a set, wait a few mins, then another.
Repeat.
Its taking a while, but it seems to be working, is the 1 hour rule set in stone?

you should just go about your business and only stop to give each other a spot. That's the reason to have a workout partner...not to slow yourself down.

Nah, hes not distractive. My chest still hurts from Monday and my back is still killing me from Tuesday, Im doing something right.
But yeah it gets crucial, like today we were doing front delt raises and on the last set as soon as we were done with rep 10 we spun them around for standing arnold presses till failure, I think I got 9, kind of crazy when you are facing you workout buddy matching him rep fore rep.... will definitely make you PUSH!

i think thats a little long, but i usually go 4 exercises with 3-4 sets on each muscle group....you can do that easily if you are doing back and bi's and maybe tris...it depends on your schedule bro. I have only been able to get in the gym 3 days a week...so i have to double up and sometimes triple up routines.....it sucks but its not overtraining, just over working lol!

SoCo, the best way to find out is look at your sleep no. 1 and recovery. If you sleep poorly since the extra 45 min. then drop it. If you seem to be weaker the next time you work the same muscle group after a few days. I think you body tells you the best way and we don't look to pick up on it. If you sleep like a baby at night you are in the zone.
