how many of you guys use these?? i only use them if im going really heavy. i would always wrap them myself but today i had a buddy of mine wrap them and what a difference. ive been doing it all wrong. i would have them tight but not that tight. he put them things so damn tight it hurt. when i did it myself i would work around 405 for like 5 or 6 but when he wraped them today i got 465 for 3. i couldnt beleive the difference

I never use them I find it actually hinders my weights, I can leg press 1250 lbs without them and only around 1000 lbs with them

never used them.....knees were always strong and never my weakpoint (that award went to my back)

my knees are so loose. i can sit in a chair and push the bottom part of my leg out of the socket. from time to time when i bend down it will pop out too. the only way to get it back in is to straighten my leg and it hurts like hell

Ouch!!!

its ussually full of liquid. it hasnt been in like 10 months, but for 3 years its been full. ive had it drained like 10 times. once they took out 90cc of liquid. it would come right back. it was to the point where i wouldnt go to the doc i would just kneel on it and it would pop into my leg. nasty

I never use them and i squat big all the time. I had reconstructie knee surgeries and wrapping my knees will only weaken that area so i dont wear them and i havent had a probelm squattin 500 without them.

Never have used wraps. My partner swears by them. He uses them for anything 300+. He wraps / lifts/ unwraps/ wraps etc. Maybe he can focus better like that, but until I feel pain or a little bit of stability loss, I'll probably not use them.

used to use, but only because I was competing. NOw I never do so all of the stabilizing tissues get / stay strong. I can't squat quite as much without them but I feel better without.

Only use them when my knee starts to hurt. Haven't used them since I stopped the leg press (couldn't add more weight), which is odd since that always struck me as a more controlled, safe exercise than the squat.

But when my knee starts to act up, it makes me FEEL like it is fine and I can squat like normal. I just use the same brace I used when I was traning for a marathon, but I make it tight.
