drinking on igf

hey boys havent takin me igf yet today tonights my buddys bday and there will definitly be some drinkin goin on my question is do you reccomend just taking today off or will it be ok to drink som on this stuff. i figured it wouldnt be good cause ive heard going hypo on alchohol is easier when your on things. let me know what you guys think appreciate it.
 
I have drank on IGF, just go easy tonight friend. You really shouldn't is the right answer but it didn't kill me. I drank that night off 60mcgs, moderate drinks (maybe about 5-6). Actually got hit on more than usuall, I wanted to say it was the igf's doing but I think I was just wearing a short skirt.
 
ha i dont like to admit it but i drank on IGF
its hard not to go out and have a good time when your geared up
i know its dangerous but when your on all the time when is there time to go out
 
you wasting 3 days of igf with one nights drinking, the day before, the present drinking day and the next day, and im being consevative, so you wasted some cash not only on brew but also on ur supplements wich isnt cheap. stay clear of booz
 
It all depends on what you want. If you want IGF to work, you will have water.
If not, then you must have some spare cash to blow.
 
how does alcohol negate the IGF? explain...
and if so how much drinking arte we talking about? 1 drink or 10 :fyi:
by the way i don't think my body takes to it very well...been on 100mcg/day for 4 weeks now and really nothing-a few more veins but haven't even seen the side effects (increase hunger-aching joints, etc)
maybe my body will take to it better PCT???
 
Not an expert on IGF but I think alcohol will impair the liver function and that will affect how the liver process the IGF or even gear. Alcohol also tampers your sleep pattern so you won't have a good night sleep for tissue repair. Just my 2 cent but I'm curious to see what other bros have to say about it.

what AAS were you taking with it?
 
since you asked my drinking is kept to a mininum, but the other chemicals that I have compound with IGF right now is test (1.5G/week), tren (roughly 450mg/week), deca (600mg/week)
 
im sure its not great for the igf one night of drinking in my mind isnt a waste of money though now if you drank all the time i would see a problem being on any gear but not really a waste of money my .02i was just seeing if i would see any serious complications with it and if anybody else had done it
 
Gbart, I have done it and lived to tell. But as dorian is curious, I am too. How did I waste 240mcgs of IGF by drinking a few bacardi and diets?
 
yeah i did too bro just dont see how a couple of drinks could wipe out an entire cycle imho.. bump for an answer
 
I don't think a few glasses of wine now and then will do you much harm, excessive alcohol intake will do you harm whether on IGF or not, to maximise your gains keep alcohol consumption to a minimum or even better abstain completely, I have celebrated my birthday during an IGF cycle and I got ridiculously pissed (slang for drunk in my country by the way) and I am still alive and well and got great gains.
 
You shouldn't drink on gear because it is hard on your liver. A drink or two every now and then won't kill you, however.

I, too, don't see the huge probelm with alcohol on IGF - other than the fact that it might make your blood sugar level less stable. Going hypo while you are drunk would be a bad thing, but I am not sure how big risk of this is. Of course your diet will suck because once you are drunk, you will want to polish off a plate of tacos or some other crap.

I don't think a few drinks should be a probelm. Just don't get TOO drunk.
 
Hello everyone!

I have a couple of drinks now and then (mostly because that's all I can handle) ;)and still manage to perform fairly decent. A year or two ago if you saw me I was nicely sculpted from head to toe. =) But I only drank one or two every 2 or 3 months.

It's okay to drink, but remember you can hurt your performance. So, if you are training for a competition...think twice. Read this article http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/swordchucks3.htm for some good information.

But for real, even if your diet is good that night of drinking (you don;t binge-out), you still sleep too much the next day, miss your 1st 3 meals, prolly half-ass your workout. I'm guessing that's where these guys were going.
 
Here's some info as to why it negates IGF:

We know that GH and IGF have some processes linked to the liver and that alcohol can affect your liver. If your liver function is impaired by alcohol, then perhaps you won't be able to make a lot of use of GH or IGF. I didn't do a whole lot of research, but here is a quick article about alcohol's effect on the GH-IGF-axis:

From the this and other articles I found on the subject, it would seem that alcohol actually blocks IGF's effects in one or more ways.
