Paranoid People at the Post Office

I swear the people that work at the post office where I live are paranoid or overzealous or something. I had a shipment of syntherol from Synthetek come to me opened. They had actually cut open the package and cut open the bubble wrap around the bottle to check what it was. No wonder it was delayed about four days late. If it wasn't my local post office, then maybe it was where the package came through customs since it was shipped from Australia, but I still suspect my local post office. Do you guys find this kind of thing happens a lot?

I've gotten packages that were open before. I wouldn't say it happens a lot but it happens. I've had things come open from online stores or from Everlast and Nike so I usually don't worry about it when something is randomly opened. I think it would depend on what method they used to open if it was cleanly done then it's probably your PO but who knows

I work for UPS. Ill be the first to admit that shit gets busted open while in transit. For instance, if a 1-2 lb box leaves from Calif. on its way to Fl. on Monday.. it will have touched over 40 peoples hands, and been in and out of 3 different trains, 6-8 different trucks by Friday, before it touches your door step. Ohh and yeah, if it is PORN, it will probably have been in and out of 10 different bathrooms and 75 peoples hands before it gets to you!LOL, I wish i was joking. The truth is that stuff being sent through the mail gets busted open a lot and 90% of the time its just packed back into the package it came in and sent on its way. Lets see, while at UPS Ive had everything from cocaine, dildos, 11lbs of gold, 6K dollars CASH, animal specimens in sealed jars, live animals (mice, crickets, earthworms), guns, STEROIDS, and all kinds of other goodies. Im not trying to make a point or make any advice here, I think Im just saying be thankful that it got to you! I think this whole thing was a rant LOL cause its Christmas time and we are straight getting killed day in and out. Our volume picks up over triple in a 4 week period, overtime isnt even fun anymore. I had a book come in about a day or two after, and it had a 2-inch hole ripped in one end of the bubble-lined amber envelope it came in. Does that seem suspicious? All my packages that come in from Australia have a sticker on it that says, "ID Recorded." What does that mean? I have another pkg coming in next week from getpinz in a bit, I'll have to see if it is tampered with. They can't harass me about that since I have legal right to use syringes for my HRT prescription anyway.

My package was definitely cut open, not to mention the bubblewrap around the product itself was also cut open. They wanted to see what it was.

I guess I can count out sending that black tar heroin UPS! I'll try DHL!
