Cutting??

Hey fellas, I read on another post (about sushi) that all starches should be eliminated during a cut. WHen I diet for a show, my carbs come from 2 sources, oats and brown rice. If rice is easily stored at fat, what should I use as carbs during this time. Looking to start dieting in Feb so any opinions are appreciated.
 
I watched on a bodybuilding program that raw vegetables and fruits are excellent for anybody...especially people training. He said that people do not gain the fat from it...even when eating at night. It was stated that he ate as much as he wanted.
 
For me fruits have too much sugar even during precontest.
I don't see vegetables... Do you not eat veggies during precontest?
Brown rice is fine. Dairy is out as well.
 
I eat either green beans or broccoli with every meal. I know those are ok. The fiber helps too.

yeah I noticed that with all the protein I'm consuming I need more fiber... broccoli is great for fiber and it's a great source of vitamins and nutrients
